The property has everything and more and super comfortable. It’s big enough to accommodate a large family or a family and friends. The views are area constant beauty and the look out over the sea is amazing. There are walks and local businesses laces to visit if you ever need to leave the lodge. I highly recommend and would definitely visit again!!!!

  • "We had an excellent week in this very large, spacious and very comfortable holiday home."

Marie and Ian have obviously put a lot of thought into the design and build of their two holiday homes. They were very welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The area is slightly remote, which we loved. The house was extremely comfortable and very well equipped, with a huge kitchen/dining area, which we love on holiday. This is great for family interaction. The views out to sea and across Loch Ryan are great and you can watch the ferries coming and going all day. There are lots of places to go and things to do in the local and the general area, although much of this depends on the time of year of the visit. We had a lovely time and would certainly think of coming back in the future and using these lovely homes. Thank you for having us.

In the last week of July nowhere seemed too busy, we had some great meals out as well as in,the kitchen facilities were particularly good. • "What an amazing accommodation, really first class, thank you Marie."

We were lost within the wonderfully sized rooms and the bonus of a pool table gave our young son the opportunity to learn the game. Plus the local "extras" upon arrival (including homemade Irish loaf!) made our stay even more special. Locally, we loved every minute of the Galloway coast peninsular, the peace, tranquillity & sea air unwound our tired working minds and the property is really close to Corsewall Lighthouse, which is brilliant and their evening meal (a big shout out to Helen, who couldn't do enough to please!) is highly recommended.

  • "This is the best holiday cottage we have stayed in our 40 years of cottage holidays within the UK, mainly Scotland."

Beautiful house and designed from the start with the user in mind. Excellent kitchen, eating area, lounge with sea views and a wood burner. Extra large bedrooms with en suite facilities, one on the ground floor that can easily accommodate wheel a chair. Cottage was spotless on arrival and and excellent home made Irish loaf, with strong cheese, chutney, bottle of wine and milk. Saw Marie a few times during our stay. I just suggested that a cullender and a slow cooker would be of benefit for the chef of the day. No sooner said, the next day she had been out and purchased both for each cottage. Now that is what I say is excellent customer/owner feedback results! Lovely lady. Hope all goes well with your lambing this year and don't work too hard. Kind regards Peter & Shelley HYDE - Shropshire farming country.

The journey along the A75 and the arrival at Corsewall Castle Farm dispelled negative thoughts. The house was magnificent in facilities and position. Marvelous views of the sea, Ireland and north up the coast. The ferries plying their trade to Belfast and Larne were a picture day and night. The night sky was a little reticent in its appearance but when it did, wow! An exposure inducing dip in the sea at Lady Bay is a must, as well as for its beautiful location. All plans of meals out were cancelled with a resounding, 'Why?', when the kitchen/dining room was viewed. A holiday house and area thoroughly enjoyed by three generations, aged 8 to 75.

In this case, we needn't have worried, as the house was exactly as seen in the photos, which were amazing!
