  • "What an amazing property."

We have regularly stayed in the local area in other properties and are happy when we arrive. as it feels like a second home. This property was a second choice due to a booking being cancelled by another owner. Wow what a blessing swn-y-mor is. There was more than enough room for six people and the view is out of this world. Thank you for sharing and hopefully we will be back soon

  • "Beautiful property with lovely sea view."

Very well equipped with everything you would need for a stay. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the property and the state of the garden let it down badly. I did make the owner aware, she apologised and assured me she would take it up with the cleaners.

Unfortunately we did have a problem, which has now been fixed. Due to the complexity of the issue we had to arrange for a specialist engineer. We offered you compensation as a gesture of goodwill which you happily accepted. Property Owner

  • "Fantastic location and large spacious property."

This is our 2nd time staying at Swyn Y Mor and once again we were delighted with the accommodation. It’s perfect for us and our dogs. So close to the beach, pubs and takeaways all within walking distance if you don’t want to use your car! I was disappointed to read a previous review complaining about the cleanliness of the property….we certainly didn’t experience this. The beds were clean and fresh with new duvets. We don’t use the oven or dishwasher as we’re on holiday and eat out or bring a takeaway in. Everything was to our satisfaction. We will be returning next year!

Thank you for your lovely review. Property Owner

The cleaning company that is employed by the owner is not doing a very gud job the showers & the toilets dirty . The stairs not clean cooker not clean spoken too a lady who lives there and she said she has heard that from others such a shame

I am the owner of the property and was at the house a few weeks ago - it was spotless as it always is. I have never spoken directly to you so am a little confused. I also did not receive any contact from you during your stay as I would expect too if the house was so bad. I would of resolved the issues straight away. Please feel free to call me to discuss. • "We were staying at Swn-y-Mor as a base whilst we were helping to renovate my mums house in the village."

The house is in a good location and first impressions it looked clean and welcoming. Our first niggle was that for a 2 week stay we were provided one towel each, a single tea towel and a small amount of toilet roll. The cleanliness of the house however was the worst aspect. The washing machine contained a used (washed) dog poo bag, and was full of slime mold. The dishwasher filter was so greasy that it took hours to clean (it didn't get up to temperature either so it was incapable of washing butter residue off a knife). Almost all the cutlery and crockery was filthy when we arrived. Three desert spoons were welded together with something brown. The oven hadn't been cleaned in a long time. We ended up spending much of our first 2 days cleaning the house we were staying in rather than working on the house we were there to renovate.

Thank you for your review. I am a little surprised by your comments regarding the cleanliness of the property as my cleaner does an excellent job. Please see previous reviews. However, I am sorry to hear of the dirty dog poo bag in the washing machine, I am afraid this was overlooked. Unfortunately, I did not receive any communication from you during your stay, so I was not given the chance to rectify your issues. Property Owner

The “upside down” layout made it perfect for taking in the sea views with a cuppa on the balcony. Perfect location for the beach, the town and rest of the island. The owner/host was lovely too, very friendly and very helpful with any queries we had. Would definitely recommend and would look to stay again if we find our selves back in Benllech.

  • "Dislikes :- No hairdryer, towels were of mixed quality, no plug socket near to large mirror in en-suite bedroom."

Grill and oven dirty and very tired looking. crockery mismatched and dotted all over the kitchen with no rhyme or reason. shortage of mugs. no welcome booklet (apologies if I just couldn't find it) luckily I have an induction hob at home so know how to use. Said hob wouldn't work on 1 day. No mirror at all in upstairs bedroom. Found Iron and board hiding under stairs 2 days in. Paintwork needs a refresh (chipped woodwork on stairs and marks on walls. Likes: - Smart TV great, sofa's very comfy as were the beds. Views great (but should admit can see carpark as well) Proximity to the beach a plus - walk up to the top for shops/restaurants/pubs not for the less agile.

  • "Lovely spacious clean property in a perfect location for the beach and local amenities."

Really enjoyed our toast and coffee in the mornings sitting on the balcony taking in the sea views. Love the fact the bedrooms are carpeted opposed to laminate flooring which is in the main living areas….much cosier and less of a slip hazard. The beds are really comfy and showers are hot with good water pressure. Great having two double bedrooms on the lower ground floor too…..one with en-suite and one adjacent to bathroom with bath and shower over. Really enjoyed our stay and have already booked for next year…..if I could make one small suggestion a hot tub in the garden wouldn’t go amiss!?! Can’t wait to return!
