The property

A mansion built for the family behind the Titanic White star line and has been converted into luxury apartments overlooking the Menai straits.

This luxury apartment lies in an elevated position close to Glyngarth, with views leaning over the Menai Strait and across to the Snowdonia mountain range.

Bryn Mel Apartment was built in 1899, and has now been lovingly refurbished to provide couples or friends with a peaceful holiday away from it all.

Much of the properties original character has been retained; as a sense of charm continues through the interior, adding to the fresh modern feel which graces the ground floor.

Inside you will discover two wonderful double bedrooms, the first boasts a walk-in shower room, whilst the second features a bath with a shower over.

There is a comfy seating area adjoined, somewhere special to be at one with the beautiful views, which are invited inside by a lovely front window.

Enjoy more of the idyllic views in the open-plan living area, a fabulous place to go about your day, whether resting at the breakfast island, or relaxing on the L shaped sofa, you can truly appreciate the scenic location.

The glistening kitchen has been designed to an exceptional standard, and a dining table for six people is bordered by a series of outlooks over the calming clear waters.

This retreat is located in a most picturesque area of Anglesey on the periphery of the bustling town of Menai Bridge, renowned for its famous suspension bridge, choice of restaurants and hotels with local walks along the shoreline.

Newly built path allows access to the beach which is just a few minutes walk away.

The Town is opportunely placed for many of the coastal and rural attractions to be found on this part of the island and is approximately 1½ miles from the A55 expressway, allowing rapid commuting through to the mainland, passing by the acclaimed University City of Bangor, which offers a vast range of shops and services together with a first-rate Inter City rail service.

About the location

GLYNGARTH

Menai Bridge 1.6 miles; Beaumaris 3 miles; Bangor 4.3 miles.

Glyngarth is in a fantastic setting in between Beaumaris and Menai Bridge overlooking the Menai Straits. Often a brilliant blue, these shallow tidal waters are crossed by two bridges, allowing easy access to the attractions of Anglesey and the mainland. The castle and pier at Beaumaris make a lovely day out, or you can catch a boat to enjoy a trip out to Puffin Island. The Anglesey Coastal Path takes in beautiful scenery, and the island is home to many fine beaches including Rhosneigr, Trearddur Bay and Red Wharf Bay. The National Trust mansion Plas Newydd is on the island, while on the mainland further National Trust properties can be found including Penrhyn Castle and Bodnant Gardens. The spectacular mountains and lakes of Snowdonia are just a short drive way, with plenty of castles, beaches and other attractions on offer in this wonderful region. The Menai Straits really does offer the best of both worlds!
