  • "We had a lovely stay at Old Kingdom Hall."

Everything was very clean and there was everything you could possibly want and more. The beds were so comfortable !!!

  • "Lovely cottage but the garden is tiny and you have to go out the front door, round the back and up a little shared path to it."

Plus it's next to the main road so was a little bit of a disappointment with our westie. We didn't use it. The public car park is about 50 yards away but down a hill so be aware of that if you have any health challenges (I have). Also we could not pay the car parking by cash and had to do it online. I had to set up an account to get receipts as car parking is notorious for wrongful penalty charging. You couldn't get receipts without setting up an account. All that said the cottage was very clean, the beds very comfortable, the shower was great and the kitchen very well kitted out. I think you'd struggle to have four adults comfortable on the corner sofa for long but there was just two of us and overall we enjoyed our stay.

  • "A lovely home from home to enjoy a week’s walking holiday exploring Angelsey’s coast."

The directions to find the property could have been clearer given there is a market on a Friday in the car park - we didn’t even notice it was a car park! Mentioning the market would be helpful. The house was well maintained and on the whole clean except for the seal the the shower screen - we have the same one at home and it takes some looking after! But a great holiday, very comfortable house and would definitely recommend it.

  • "Fab location for exploring the island."

Lovely walks locally too, we saw dolphins near the port. Lots of local amenities. The house has everything that you would need, comfy beds, massive towels, well equipped kitchen. The radiator in the bathroom leaks, we put a towel under it. The cleanliness wasn’t as high as other properties we have stayed in, we cleaned before we left and under the beds and sofa wasn’t a build up of our 4 night stay. We would come back and visit again!

  • "We loved our stay at this property, firstly the booking was made the day before and the Sykes team were on the phone immediately to ensure it was possible."

The property was as described, really clean, well equipped with everything we needed, no complaints at all. Finding the property was a little difficult, but we did.

  • "This was our third time this year."

We have stayed in Amlwch previously but not at this property. The property has everything. The upside down layout is not a problem. The Dinorban Arms allows dogs and is very welcoming. Parking was the only problem, but my wife has a blue badge so free parking is available at the public car park. A local tenant complained about parking at the property when I was loading my car.

  • "Seems a newish conversion: high standard."

Well insulated cos warm & cosy. Upside down layout works well. The beds in 2nd bedroom are spacious for bunk beds. Situated just off main road but not noisy. Owners helpful & accommodating. Many superb beaches within easy reach. Has no parking space but car park 1 minute away where you stay in bed & pay by phone when charges start

  • "Very well equipped little bolt hole to explore Anglesey."

Would recommend and would stay again. Only niggle was road noise, but that’s because I’m just not used to it. Everything as described on site.
