  • "Fantastic property in an amazing location."

The property is very spacious with a perfect sized garden. Such a nice touch being left the little welcome bits as well as the treats for our 4 legged friends. The fact there was no designated parking was not an issue even with having 2 cars, and we managed to park seconds from the house every time we went out

  • "This is the third time we have stayed at Bryn Hafod and we have just booked again for next year."

The house is extremely comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed. The house is ideally situated for the beach and only a short walk into the village. The owners are very supportive if you should have a problem and they make themselves very accessible which is very reassuring. Looking forward to next year!

  • "The house is in an ideal location just a short stroll from the beaches and town centre but the only problem we had was with parking , I think it needs to be pointed out that parking close to the property may be an issue."

I would recommend Bryn Hafod as a lovely clean and well furnished property in particular the owner is extremely helpful and accessible as we found when we had a problem with the central heating.

  • "A fabulous home from home and just a two minute walk to a dog friendly beach, 5 minutes to the pub and shops, and many fantastic cliff walks."

And the rest of Anglesey is stunning. The welcome pack was most welcome, the treats for Basil were enjoyed too. An enclosed garden was great too. The house was 10 out of 10 for comfort. And a big thanks for the owners' support in Storm Babete when they let us stay an extra night so we could travel home a day late.

Lovely house and location. We had all we needed for us and our dog. Really helpful to have a hosepipe in the garden, to rinse her off after our beach and coastal path walks and thank you for our welcome pack. We definitely recommend your home to others.

Lovely welcome pack left for us lots of helpful information about the area. Bryn Hafod is a little gem within walking distance of the beach pubs shop and cafe. There are some steep slopes to navigate if walking to and from the village but all in all lovely place to stay . Very secure back garden for our dogs.

The welcome pack was really appreciated and even our dog was not forgotten. When we contacted the owner on just a small matter he came round almost immediately and couldn't have been more helpful. We would definitely recommend it if staying in Cemaes. The view from the back garden was amazing.

  • "Very well equipped holiday home, it was just me and my hubby who stayed but great for a family too."

Beach and coastal walks about 5 minutes away plus dog walking area and canal walks. Great welcome pack too with bread, milk, butter, fresh orange and yummy Welsh cakes plus some treats for the dog. Our dog loved the big dog bed provided. Sadly the butcher's in the village had shut down and the little shop had some supplies so we stocked up with food at Holyhead which is about 20 minutes away, plenty choices of supermarkets, Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, Aldi, Lidle and Iceland which are all in close proximity to each other.

  • "This is a lovely house situated very near to the shore."

The house was clean and well equipped and the welcome pack was a nice touch. The garden was safe for the dog and a wonderful spot for listening to the sea and the occasional baa from the sheep. The house is in a great location to explore Anglesey - with lovely coastal walks from the doorstep and further afield. The week flew by and I'd be very happy to return to Bryn Hafod in the future.

  • "Smashing - couldn't fault it."

I think the only thing is that the shower does spray somewhat past the screen door so you do get a wet floor, and I think more towels are needed rather than just 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel each - but I think this may be a Sykes guideline rather than particular to the host. The place was spotless, fantastically equipped, excellent layout, lovely log burner, and excellent location. Will certainly return!

Super clean, comfortable, and well equipped with all mod-cons; everything you need for a home from home, plus some thoughtful extras for the pooch. The location is 2 minutes from the beach and coast path in the rugged North of Anglesey - perfect for swimmers, beach lovers, walkers and wildlife lovers. The location was amazing being quite literally 2 minutes from the beach and a couple of pubs. • "This holiday home was an absolute joy!"

We loved every second of it. For those with kids and dogs, the garden is very secure and there’s lots of room to play front and back. The house was beautifully clean and very comfortable. It was kitted out nicely, they even had dog bowls and a dog towel ready and waiting for us. Just down the road (a path next to the garages as you walk down the hill) is a park with enough things to keep them entertained for an hour or so. The location is just perfect. A short walk from the beach and what a glorious beach it was. There were 2 cafes that we went to, both dog friendly although one outside only. They do lovely food! A few pubs around but if you want a really nice meal go to the Bay View Restaurant and bar, it’s dog and child friendly and does delicious food, there is a small park there and it has spectacular views. From the port at Cameas Bay, there is a boat trip by Captain Dave, a lovely man who is very knowledgeable about the area, definitely worth a trip. All in all, a great holiday home in a great place!

The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Flo took advantage of the dog bed provided and loved her walks on the beaches in Cemaes and the other beaches In Anglesey. We would recommend the Gadlys Hotel for food, which is not the cheapest but is good. We also ate at the Harbour restaurant and the food was decent there too. Great coastal walks. Bodnan gardens is well worth a visit. As is Beaumaris castle. We had a brilliant week made better by having a fantastic 7 days of weather which meant our coats hats and gloves remained in the property unused.
