About the property

Llanfaethlu 2.4 miles.

Resting in the charming village of Church Bay, North Wales is Bwthyn Y Bae Lodge, a well-presented and pet-friendly lodge offering off-road parking and a lovely decking, perfect for the summer months.

Ideal for a small family, the lodge is conveniently located within easy reach of Anglesey's finest attractions while holding a peaceful feel for a relaxed break.

Arriving at the property, take the steps up to the decking and into the sitting room where you will find a plush sofa and electric fire to cosy up in front of while you settle in to watch the Sky TV for the evening.

From here, make your way to the kitchen/diner to rustle up a tasty home-cooked meal for your group to enjoy at the dining table while you discuss the day's events.

When sleep calls, head to the bedrooms for some well-earned rest; the lodge hosts a double with an en-suite shower room and a twin, for a flexible sleeping arrangement.

Guests will also benefit from a shower room fit with a bath, a shower, a basin and a WC, where you can freshen up and prepare for another adventurous day.

Take advantage of the decking in the summer months and enjoy your meals alfresco; the charcoal barbecue provided means you can flex your culinary muscles while out in the sun, while the group savours a glass of wine on the dining furniture.

If you can tear yourself away, treat your loved ones to a meal out at the gorgeous The Lobster Pot which offers fresh seafood from local sources.

For a light bite, Wavecrest Café is also just a short walk away.

Step back in time and spend an afternoon exploring the Swtan Heritage Museum, home to a fascinating exhibition from a time gone-by and a well-stocked herb garden and orchard with old Welsh varieties.

A scenic drive will take you to the lovely Traeth Ynys y Fydlyn beach, where you can take some time to stroll along the shores and soak up the sun with picture-perfect sea views.

Slightly further afield, discover the amazing species at Anglesey Sea Zoo, a fantastic aquarium any sea life or animal lover can enjoy.
