  • "We had such a lovely holiday here."

15 of us (including a baby) fitted in perfectly. We liked practically everything about it. The house was spacious and well equipped. Everything was very clean. It was in a nice friendly village - they told us on the street to come into the pub - "it will be fine and dandy" and it was! There was a shop next door which stocked all the top up things we needed and the lady in the shop was very pleased to see us. The children all want us to go back tomorrow!

  • "Few things needs to improve- 1) Wifi bandwidth."

It provides the signal only on ground floor. It doesn’t catch on first or second floor. 2) Toilet was dirty when we arrived 3) Team needs to take care of the Communications with the client. I got a very rude and harsh massage from the team member about the key and other things without internal discussion. When I spoke to the team, they confirmed that there were some miss-communication.

Thank you for the feedback. This is the first time that Wi-Fi coverage within the property has been raised as an issue and we will certainly investigate further. After each clean the property is inspected by one of the Owners for cleanlinesses which has ensured high cleaning standards, reflected in the previous good reviews. If something was missed we apologise. We did apologise at the time regarding the miscommunication regarding the cleaning team and the storeroom keys, and we have implemented improved control measures. Property Owner

  • "I would highly recommend this property for a large family get together."

We spent a wonderful Christmas together, everything was available for us, including a washing machine and drying room, which came in handy after long walks in wet weather, allowing us to dry coats and boots ready for another walk. The area has lots of places to visit, and things to do, even during Christmas week, and we were so pleased with it, that we are booking again for next year. The owners were always available for any questions we had, and very friendly and helpful. Can’t praise this place highly enough.

  • "Really lovely stay."

.. fantastic downstairs living space and kitchen facilities. Given the slightly damp weather and the activities we were doing, most rooms having ensuites was really helpful.

  • "The property was excellent all way through, great heating system and really spacious for the family."

The disappointment was the mention of a laundry room which turned out to be just a small washing machine with NO drying facility. The washing line outside was equally small not enough to cater for the 20 residents. Sort the laundry situation out and this would have been a perfect score from me.

Thank you for the feedback. The property contains a large purpose built walk-in drying room, which is highly insulated and continuously heated using recycled heat. It is fitted with a self-draining dehumidifier and it is ideally suited for quickly drying large volumes of wet clothing and footwear. It was built with outdoor enthusiasts in mind and it is more versatile and environmentally friendly than standard electric tumble driers. Instructions on use of the drying room are contained in the welcome pack emailed to all guests prior to arrival. As a learning point we will include more photographs in the pack and improve onsite signage. Property Owner

  • "Property is perfect for large groups."

The kitchen had two of everything, ovens, fridges, kettles. Pool & shuffle board. Secure parking for 4 vehicles. An enclosed verandah to sit out. Everything maintained to a high standard.

  • "|This accommodation is absolutely fantastic."

All bedrooms have their own ensuites which are to a high specification. The showers are so powerful and refreshing. The kitchen has two halves duplicate of one another so you can have a 'cook off'. Green team won every time! There is a snooker table and shuffleboard which kept everyone entertained when were in. I would definitely recommend this property for large families.

  • "We had a fabulous stay at the Bull Inn with family."

Good communication prior to arrival, we were sent a welcome pack with all details of the property and details of the codes for self-check in. The owner of the property also contacted to check everything was ok after we had arrived, which was a nice touch. The property was clean on arrival. The kitchen is a brilliant set up for large numbers with lots of space for dinner parties (multiple tables to be able to all sit together). Bedrooms all very comfortable with large beds, duvets were crisp although they didn't stay in the quilt covers brilliantly! The fact that there was an en suite in each bedroom made it much easier for families sharing. The showers were reviewed incredibly by all. The games room was also a great touch and much fun was had with the pool and shuffle tables. There isn't much to see/do on the doorstep and takeaways did not offer delivery but it is in a great location in terms of being a short drive from Beddgelert/Snowdon/Porthmadog. Overall we would highly recommend a stay at the Bull and we will be back!

About the location

Llanberis 4 miles; Caernarfon 8 miles; Bangor 8 miles.

The village of Deiniolen, housing a village pub and shop, is 4 miles north of Llanberis, on the border of the Snowdonia National Park, making it an ideal base to explore the National Park. The Llanberis Railway runs nearby along the banks of Lake Padarn, whilst the ruins of Dolbadarn Castle are 2 miles away, or visit Ceunant Mawr, a cascading waterfall just outside Llanberis. Local walks lead to the Marchlyn Mawr Reservoir on the northern slopes of Elidir Fawr. Llanberis is 4 miles away and is flanked by two lakes, Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris and is one of the most popular mountain tourist centres in the Snowdonia National Park. In fact, Llanberis is something of a “mecca” for walkers and climbers, being the starting point for the ascent of Snowdon - the highest mountain in England and Wales. The ascent can be made either by train, on the Snowdon Mountain Railway, or on foot along one of the many routes to the summit. Each year, major racing events attract thousands to the area: The fast Snowdon Race to the summit, held in July every year and The Snowdonia Marathon, held in October - a gruelling 26 mile course that starts and finishes in Llanberis, circumnavigating the Snowdon Massif. Within Llanberis itself there are excellent places to eat and drink and a great choice of shopping. On the coast is Caernarfon with its magnificent castle and town walls and close by are National Trust properties at Penrhyn and Plas Newydd.
