The cottage is lovely and has a well equipped kitchen and clean the lounge has a very small sofa and two small uncomfortable chairs so not a place you could sit and relax watching tv the garden could do with having a table and chairs and maybe a nice patio area so you can sit and eat outside we didn’t sit out as we could hear the residents next door shouting and swearing the bedrooms are ok the double bed is pushed up against the wall so me and my husband slept in the single beds which were ok but the pillows weren’t very good cheap and flat and the bed linen felt rough think the cottage would benefit from a few home comforts if your staying there for longer than a few days fortunately we had good weather so didn’t have to spend much time in the cottage the location is central so easy to get to anywhere there’s a pub in the village but it only served food at the weekend the chippy do lovely fish and chips had a great time exploring all the beautiful places in Anglesey but didn’t feel we could come back to the cottage and relax would I stay here again no it’s not for us

  • "This unfortunately was not the cleanest of cottages which I have stayed in;there was a red stain on the bed sheet, the windows were dirty, the bin was filthy, the freezer compartments had many stains and clearly had not been cleaned, the floors had not been hoovered or brushed, cups were stained, toilet was stained, hoover was full of dirt and had not been emptied, toaster and kettle were dirty, the grass was extremely long in the garden, preventing my boys from playing football, the garden was very long and unlit;at the end of the garden is an industrial estate and derelict buildings, as a mum alone with two boys I felt quite vulnerable and would have felt safer with lighting at the end of the garden."

This was quite a disappointing stay; for the price we paid to stay in the cottage,I expected it to be at the least, very clean.

Hi Claire, I was very disappointed to read about the property not being cleaned to the highest of standards which we expect and also our guests. This has been raised as a priority to the house keeping company, With the grass, this was noticed before your arrival and the regular gardener had injured himself & we arranged for a new one to cut and was assured it would be and again we were let down. It would’ve been appreciated if these issues were raised as we could’ve rectified immediately KREB Property Owner

  • "Well presented and the washing machine and dryer were very welcome!"

My dogs can’t be trusted off lead as they have poor recall so it would be brilliant to have a fence across the bottom of the garden to keep them secure if off lead. They could easily have jumped out of the garden. I brought my own cafetière but that would also be a welcome addition and perhaps more than one toilet roll?

  • "Lovely little house ideal as a base to explore."

Great facilities....all you need in a kitchen...except a wine bottle opener ! The road the house is situated on is a main through road which is quite noisy even with the double glazing ( bedrooms at the front) Great garden for the dogs however insecure at the very back of it and a lot of small pieces of glass in the ground in this area. Garden was a lovely sun trap throughout the evening.

Hi Liz Thanks for your positive feedback, it’s nice to hear you enjoyed the house and the area! we’ll get the bottle opener replaced! thanks again KR EB Property Owner

  • "We had a very enjoyable stay at Clydfan last week."

The cottage was spotless and the facilities were adequate. The kitchen dining area was very practical though we thought a bread bin would be useful. The garden whilst pleasant to enjoy the evening sun, needed a bit of TLC as the grass needed cutting. We did have problems watching ITV due to a poor signal connection which was a bit annoying but having Netflix was a bonus! A well-located, Casey cottage which we would use again! Thank you!

Hi Carol Thank you for your positive review. apologies for the delay in responding as it’s only just came visible! hopefully you’ll visit again in the future. KE EB Property Owner

Just a couple of things. A baby gate on the stairs would have been great hate the dogs going upstairs. Also an extra t -towel and bin bag. The pub over the road very welcoming had a great night in there. Reccomend this place 100%

  • "House exactly as described, very well furnished especially cooking/kitchen equipment."

Garden possibly could use a little work but no complaints. Llanerchymedd doesn't have a great deal to it but is an excellent base for touring Anglesey, has an excellent chip shop, and the Bull pub whilst predominantly frequented by locals is very friendly, as was everywhere in Anglesey. Our first visit to the island, we'll definitely be returning.

  • "We would have given this property five stars but we had a problem with the wifi password as it was incorrect in the welcome folder and the EE card was hidden in leaflets and letters in a drawer and we wouldn’t have thought of looking for it anyway."

We left it underneath the dongle after we had found it. The office was as helpful as they could be. There was also no saucepan lids in an otherwise very well equipped kitchen.

  • "Very enjoyable stay!"

Lovely touch to leave items in the kitchen for us - very welcome after our journey. Lamps and mirrors in both rooms, as other feedback had suggested not. Fabulous long garden for two spaniels to romp round. Couldn’t really fault anything - would recommend. Nice cosy place to come home too after a day mooching around the island.

The village is not picturesque but this is an excellent base to tour the island .

  • "The property is not as listed."

The village is not a tourist destination on Anglesey. The house next door is unkempt / rubbish outside etc . It is in a socially deprived area. I would not recommend this property be used for tourists. Travel by car at least 30 minutes to coastline either way. House is unsuitable for disabled access. Parking is inadequate, there were no tea and coffee making facilities and nowhere to hang your clothes. Lack of mirrors, lights are too harsh - bathroom screen does not stop water going on the floor. You have to climb over a person to get into / out of bed . Garden stark- distinct lack of outdoor furniture . No view. Industrial lick ups at back of property. Pub is a locals pub , not suitable for a romantic destination as listed at all.

Thank you very much for your feedback. As the cottage is in the centre of the island, we feel it's in a great position to explore many of the nearby attractions. The cottage next door had put there bins out ready for collection day. Parking is just in front of the cottage with further on road parking if needed across the road. The cottage does provide a kettle. Property has recently been refurbished and all light bulbs installed by a qualified electrician which are Led to EU/CE compliant. We do hope you will visit Anglesey again. Property Owner

  • "Looking for the property, on arrival ,the cottage had incorrect name."

Very clean and well equipped kitchen however upstairs there was little storage and no hanging facilities for clothes. Only one mirror which was located in shower room. Only one small chest with lamp in corner of double bedroom, which could not be reached from bed. Twin room, two bedside tables with no lamps. Both bedrooms have blinds but aren't blackout. Also on a busy main road.

There was a bed lamp in one room, but not in other room. On the whole the property was very nice and comfy.

The property was clean, great kitchen space and a nice long garden that we could enjoy the sunshine in. It was clear that a lot of thought and work had gone into make the property a welcoming one. Thanks for the cake. A very helpful owner.
