Nestled in the idyllic rural village of Llanerchymedd, Anglesey, is this wonderful two-bedroom holiday home, Ynys Cottage.

Explore the local village, where you can treat your loved ones to a well-deserved meal at the popular Bull Inn or the welcoming Twrcyhleun Arms, there is also a well-stocked convenience store and a fish and chip takeaway for when you don’t fancy venturing far.

From your holiday home, you can easily access the popular destination of Holyhead, here you can enjoy scenic hikes along the renowned Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path, offering some of the best sights and scenery in the area, delve into history at the Holyhead Maritime Museum, or explore the delights of the Parc Gwledig Morglawdd Caergybi Breakwater Country Park, where you can enjoy picturesque trails, a fishing lake and birdwatching.

For a memorable day trip, why not catch a ferry over to Dublin where you can sample a taste of the Irish life?

A small village on the Isle of Anglesey, the Welsh community of Llannerch-y-Medd is the perfect place to enrich yourself with Welsh culture, with more than 60% of the locals being Welsh speaking, there's no better time to learn a new language and test out your knowledge, just be thankful you're not in the area of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. With the disused Anglesey Central Railway running through the village, it's a wonderful spot for train fanatics, with a cafe and tea rooms attached to the old remaining buildings its a lovely spot to take in the landscapes of Wales.
