  • "Great property."

Clean and well kept. Only one minor issue is that we could have done with a full length wardrobe. Nowhere to hang a dress or coats.

  • "Fantastic accommodation."

We loved everything about it and we didn’t want to depart! We Look forward to staying again in the future. A lovely peaceful quiet area.

  • "We came away to Anglesey for a few days for my boyfriend’s birthday and stayed in the Hayloft."

It was spotless on arrival, and we were pleasantly surprised by how much was supplied for us, even a complimentary Prosecco! Loved relaxing in the hot tub and the huge bath with a glass of wine or two. We loved the comfort of the sofa and bed when we wanted to get cosy, as well as sitting in front of the fire. The only thing I would say we did miss was some kitchen tongues for the oven, as well as some salt and pepper! Overall amazing stay, and we would happily come back.

  • "Just back from the most wonderful 3 nights stay at the hayloft, if it’s possible it was even more gorgeous in real life, than on the pictures."

Felt so relaxed, it was quite far out from everything but perfect if you just want to chill. Would definitely book again

  • "Overall was a lovely stay."

Nice and quiet location so great for a little staycation if you’re happy to stay in and cook. Hot tub was well maintained and cleaned after each booking. Nice modern studio flat with plenty of room. Only thing that would have made it perfect would be to have a TV in the bedroom area as well as the lounge so you can relax a little more. We’d definitely return.

This place is stunning! The tasteful décor, the hot tub, the peaceful location, the super comfortable bed, the attention to detail, the log fire, everything was absolutely perfect. Has to be the nicest place we've ever stayed; we didn't want to leave! Cannot wait to come back.

We stayed in The Hayloft at the end of Jan and it was so perfect. The open plan space was so relaxing, beautifully laid out and had everything we could ever need. The hot tub is super private and a dream, especially during cold windy nights! Lauren & George have thought of everything including a complementary bottle of Prosecco on arrival. The gym is great too, we actually used it and our only regret was that we only did once! We loved it start to finish, thanks for an amazing stay

  • "It was absolutely amazing, spot on from what we booked, not one fault, the only thing we couldn't get working properly was the log fire but that must be not being able to light it properly haha."

Would definitely recommend. The list of things to do in your welcome pack you receive are good for summer but not for winter as they are all mainly shut, so a separate winter brochure of things to do would be nice. Will definitely come back. The honesty bar was a very good idea.

About the location

Cemaes Bay 1.5 miles; Holyhead 15 miles.

Llanfechell is a small village situated one and a half miles from Cemaes Bay, on the northern tip of Anglesey in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village gets its name from the nearby 12th century Mechell Church, which has been extended over the years and where it is believed that St Mechell is buried. The ancient Parys mountain copper mines are seven miles away, with their lunar-like landscape and the area is popular with geologists and archaeologists due to the rock formations at Mechell Mountain and the several ancient monuments scattered around, reputed to be some of the oldest in the world. Llanfechell is home to a village pub, which serves traditional ale with a warm welcome. Nearby, the pretty seaside village of Cemaes Bay is home to three pubs, a few shops, a natural sheltered harbour and a sandy beach, edged by grassy cliffs and ideal for safe bathing and family fun. The whole of the Isle of Anglesey is renowned for its miles of stunning and varied coastline, offering wonderful walking and cycling opportunities, along with birdwatching, excellent watersports, fishing and many quality golf courses. Anglesey Sea Zoo and a variety of National Trust properties and gardens are all within reach on this beautiful island, while a day trip to Dublin can be enjoyed from nearby Holyhead.
