  • "We arrived at Lanca in the pitch black, during a major storm."

Trying not to get blown over on the way to picking up the key from the key safe was an experience. Once inside the property we lit the log fire and the place was snug and warm in no time. The cottage is exceptionally clean and has all the facilities you need. Being right on the beach in the middle of a storm was no problem because the cottage is very secure with strong walls and windows. There are stunning views and beautiful walks along the shoreline. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend, despite the weather. Can definitely recommend.

  • "Our fantastic holiday in Lanka, certainly lived up to our expectations and more."

A unique and beautiful place, with breath taking views, that change by the minute. Who needs television!! The cottage was full of charm and very cosy. The quality / cleanliness of bed linen and towels, was first class. I couldn’t in all honesty, find fault with anything and can ( already have) recommended Lanka to people. We would love to stay there again.

  • "Adore Moelfre and surrounding area anyway and was always desperate to stay in Lanka as that little spot is very special."

It did not disappoint! Cosy, clean and well equipped. Wood burner is a fabulous addition. Will come back some time soon. Also a big thanks for sorting the change of gas canisters so quickly when they ran out.

  • "We absolutely loved this cottage and the location."

It is qell equipped. Being next to the beach and sitting outside the cottage are lovely memories. We also love Moelfre having spent many previous holidays in the area. Our only criticism is that it is difficult to access the far side of the bed in the large master bedroom being under the slope of the roof. This is not very clear in the photos. If the bedroom door opened outwardly instead of inwards then the bed could be moved more to the centre of the room to give easy access to both sides of the bed

  • "We loved being so close to the sea."

First thing we did on waking was to open the top part of the front door, look at the wonderful view and listen. Magic!
