“Although we enjoyed our stay at Cable House in Cemaes Bay the property could do with some updating i.”

    E. all of the internal doors required a good clean and a paint job(they were grubby and had stains on them), floors needed a thorough clean also (lots of dust and dirt in corners). The family shower/wet room does not have a window blind! There was a necklace hanging off the central heating thermostat that had obviously been left by someone else. The family shower/wet room does not have a window blind! There was a necklace hanging off the central heating thermostat that had obviously been left by someone else. Not convinced that any enhanced (covid) cleaning is being done. We could not get the TV to work properly, couldn't get terrestrial channels so we watched via the smart tv which constantly buffered. No DVD player so we couldn't watch the dvds we'd brought with us. On a positive note, the property is in a great location overlooking the Bay, there are some lovely walks nearby and other villages/towns are within easy access. The bed we used was very comfortable. And we didn't mind the creaky floors although when they creak in the dead of night when everyones in bed it can be a bit spooky (think it may be caused by the underfloor heating).

The property

This architect-designed house has been built around the wonderful views of Cemaes Bay.

It sits right in the middle of the bay, offering a fabulous vista of the harbour, main beach and countryside.

Whether you are coming together as a family, or spending time with friends, Cable House is refreshingly dreamy with neutral decor and an abundance of style.

Situated over three floors, the cottage even features a pool table, table football, and a games console for the children to enjoy, day after day.

Created with the view in mind, the first floor benefits from underfloor heating, quality soft furniture and a dining table, all brought to life by a charming woodburning stove.

The kitchen/diner continues the beautiful formation, overlooked by pendant lighting, and a warm homely overtone.

With its own balcony overlooking the beach with a patio area, this is the place to be from morning through to night time.

The top floor is your night time escape, boasting a master bedroom with super king-size bed and ensuite bathroom, and two additional rooms which provide the flexibility of zip/link options.

The front bedrooms have views of the sea, harbour and beach, and the ensuite bathroom has an amazing freestanding bath.

A contemporary wet room comprises a large shower area with a powered waterfall shower head.

A cottage equally wonderful inside and out.

The pretty seaside village of Cemaes Bay is home to four pubs, shops, a cafe and Visitor Centre, a natural sheltered harbour and a sandy beach.

The Isle of Anglesey is renowned for its miles of varied coastline offering superb walking and cycling, renowned birdwatching, excellent water sports, fishing and many quality golf courses.

The well-known Sea Zoo and a variety of National Trust properties and gardens are all within reach of this beautiful island.

A special place to base your holiday.
