  • "A very comfortable home to stay in, very well appointed and spotlessly clean!"

Loads of garden for the dog to run around and plenty of space for cars! A great find and will definitely return.

Thank you for the lovely feedback and so pleased you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to you staying with us again Property Owner

  • "We loved this property, it has everything that we needed and was very comfortable."

We stayed for 3 x nights and were close enough to lots of areas to visit. We took our own grey towels to use and it looks like my husband has also picked 2 of your towels and packed them away. Just doing washing and have identified these 2 towels do not belong to us, so sorry for this. We will clean the towels, how would you like us to proceed in sending these back by post? Do you have a specific address that we can return these 2 grey towels. Thank you for the lovely stay. Regards Jackie and Rick.

Thank you for the feedback. We hope to welcome you back soon Property Owner

  • "Cae Capel was well located for amenities & close to near by attractions."

Everything we needed from the property was there and had a comfortable stay with friends. We had some Welsh cakes & a bottle of wine left for us on arrival, which was a lovely gesture. We would like to return again sometime in the future.

  • "Really enjoyed our week stay."

Cae Capal is a lovely, spacious house, a real comfortable ‘home from home’ Lovely bathrooms and open plan lounge/dining space. Our boys and 2 dogs loved the garden, we struck lucky with the weather too so that was a bonus! The road is quite noisy, not an issue when you’re inside the house but very noticeable when sat outside on the lovely patio, that said we were out and about most of the time so wasn’t too much of a problem. We’ve stayed at many properties on Anglesey and this is my husband’s favourite so far, we will definitely be returning.

Thank you for the feedback and lovely to hear you enjoyed your stay, we hope to welcome you back to CC soon. Property Owner

  • "Not criticisms, just comments."

The bedside lamps confused me for a few minutes until I realised they were touch activated. A warning/information sign would be helpful to those (like me) not familiar with such features. It took me a couple of days to stumble across the clothes airer hidden away in the bedroom, I left it in the bathroom when I departed. Otherwise a very comfortable stay and I would like to return some time. The cafe across the road was quite handy as well - basic but good food.

Thank you for your helpful comments, we look forward to welcoming you back to CC Property Owner

  • "Cae capel is beautiful and we had a lovely stay there, the reason I gave it a 4 star and a little smile is because the sofa and cushions had dog hair stuck to them, the ensuite had dust around the edges especially behind the toilet, there was no vaccuum cleaner only a brush and as wooden floors naturally gathers dust a hoover would make it easier."

The driveway had a massive conifer branch across the drive which made it difficult to drive up to the property, Sykes cottages acted immediately when I reported it and had it removed but I think the cottage manager should have ensured this was removed before we arrived when they came to check the cottage. We have enjoyed our stay and it is a lovely place to stay.

Thank you for your valuable feedback and great to hear you enjoyed your stay. So sorry to hear about the hair, if you had brought the issue to our attention during your stay we would have done our best to rectify. A hoover is available for guests to use and the branch was reported to Menai who removed it at the earliest opportunity. We hope to welcome you back to CC in the future. Property Owner

The garden is gorgeous (and dog proof!) even in winter, and our beagle adored it. A great location from which to explore, or to just stop the wold for a while. This was our 2nd visit and I'm sure it won't be our last

  • "Absolutely gorgeous place to stay ."

Lovely massive garden . The pictures on the website don’t do the house justice , just go and have a lovely time like we did . Spotlessly clean , beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms . Yes it’s right next to a main road but we weren’t bothered by any traffic noise and the garden is totally secured . Our two dogs loved the garden and I only wish we had had better weather for them to enjoy it more . We will stay there again for sure

  • "This bungalow was comfortable, spacious and well equipped."

Contrary to a few negative reviews we found it to be cleaned satisfactorily and very acceptable for our party which included a toddler. The large and well kept gardens were of special enjoyment. At no time did we feel overwhelmed by street noise and we all slept soundly. The "extras" in the larder and fridge were appreciated also. Overall a very good holiday base.

The two seater patio chair was damaged and unusable. The cottage description failed to mention there was no phone signal and no landline was available. Otherwise the cottage was comfortable and well equipped

Thank you for the feedback, if you had brought these matters to our attention while in residence we would have done our best to rectify them. We do not advertise a landline and mobile phone signal in rural locations is very dependant on your provider. WIFI is available at Cae Capel at no cost to guests and can be used to make calls Property Owner

  • "The bungalow and gardens were very good."

The showers were not clean. The en-suit shower was blocked with gung and hair which we had to clean out....not good.A neighbour knocked on the door and asked if he could cut down some of the weeds at the bottom of the garden,he thought we were the owners.Told him to contact you as we didn,t have a phone number for the owners.Your description should mention that the bunglaow is on a main road and was niosy when we were sat out.Its a shame because appart from the noise everything else was perfect.

Thank for you for your valuable feedback. Please be assured that the issues you have pointed out to us have been taken seriously and addressed. We hope to be able to welcome you back to North Wales soon Property Owner

  • "This property is really beautifully fitted out, with seemingly nothing being too much trouble."

It was immaculately clean on arrival, and given that we are still mid-Covid, this was really reassuring to see. The gardens are beautiful and this was a fundamental part of our stay as we needed somewhere for a (mad) beagle / collie cross to run around. He loved every inch of it, and I can truthfully say that the grounds are definitely dog-proof! If we had 2 tiny niggles, one is that the dishwasher door falls open with a terrible force so please make sure you don't have any small animals or children sitting under it! Secondly, and this is something which the owner can't do anything about, but the road is really noisy. For us it made no difference as we were out and about an awful lot but I imagine that if you didn't have great weather, it might become frustrating. Everything from the decor to the accessories was homely and well thought out. We took our own vacuum, just in case the dog malted too much (which he did!), but there was one there for use if needs be. We will definitely re-visit this property - in fact we have tried to re-book for September but it's already fully booked :-( Thank you for a wonderful, much needed break.
