  • "We had a fantastic stay in February 2024."

The accommodation was spacious, clean and very well equipped. The owner left a very generous welcome pack which was well received. The location was ideal with Lleiniog beach just a 2 minute walk away and straightforward travel links to the rest of the island with no location ever more than 30 minutes away. Overall, we had a perfect week and will certainly be visiting again in the future.

We’d never been to Penmon point before but it was Truly stunning and a hit with us all, including the cafe! We walked, kayaked, swam, kite surfed, foiled, bodyboarded, bounced, ate out, ate in and had every convenience we could ask for. Thank you

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at the Stables."

It is a stunning property throughout with tasteful and high quality fixtures and fittings. The setting is superb and we made good use of the terraced area and the most comfortable furniture. It is an ideal base to explore Anglesey and beyond. We look forward to returning to this wonderful property in the near future.

Everything is equipped to the highest standard and the Open Plan downstairs area meant we could entertain family members very easily over Christmas. It is part of a very well designed group of new properties, with plenty of parking, and we felt immediately at home.

  • "We had the most beautiful week in Beaumaris, this house is finished to the highest standard, in a stunning location."

The property is absolutely perfect, it’s cosy & welcoming but big enough that everyone has their own space. The outside area is perfect, we sat watching the sun go down while our 2 boys played on the grass - just perfect. We are already planning a return visit in May/June next year!

  • "Enjoyed our stay at the stables."

It was a lovely house. The guest book with all the instructions were really helpful and little touches like games for kids were really thoughtful. Its was very clean and catered to all our needs. The house is in a good spot, most of the attractions were in a reasonable distance so we could visit them without spending much time travelling. It would have been nice if the construction work finished early so we could have quite time at the patio without any noises in the background. Once the work is done, it would be a lovely set of cottages. Would surely visit again.

Thank you for your kind feedback. We are glad you had a lovely stay and look forward to you staying again in future. Property Owner

  • "Loved this house, the owner has made so much effort to make it feel like a home for anyone staying there."

Lovely touches like the throws to use on a cold evening were perfect. The only thing missing for us was a hosepipe we could use to rinse off wetsuits and bikes, maybe something the owner would consider ? Marked down a little on cleaning as we found a dishwasher full of dirty pots on arrival which was a bit annoying, perhaps it should have been checked.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave feedback. We're so pleased you loved the house, as we always want our guests to feel at home. You make an excellent point about the hosepipe, and we will ensure there is one available for future guests. Please accept our apologies for the dishwasher. It was an oversight by a new member of staff employed by our cleaners. We have spoken to them and they assure us this will never happen again. We hope we can welcome you back again soon. Our girls loved the beach a few minutes from the door, over the road, great for crabbing. We also enjoyed Penmon and the cafe there, and Anns Pantry in Moelfre-but probably best to book. We took a boat ride and saw seals which was fun. We hope to return one day.

About the location

BEAUMARIS

Menai Bridge 4 miles.

Beaumaris is a well known historic town on the Isle of Anglesey situated on the Menai Strait and overlooking the Snowdonia mountain range, making for the most stunning of sunrises. With its medieval castle (now a World Heritage site) dating back to the reign of Edward I and its Victorian pier, gaol and courthouse, it is also known as a major centre for yachting. Beaumaris is rich in history and retains much of its medieval street pattern. It’s setting, diversity of architectural styles and periods, differing scale, open spaces, varying roofs and overall quality contribute greatly to the town’s character. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and public houses, as well as fishing opportunities and boat trips in the town, plus a golf course nearby. Along the coast is a large bay called Red Wharf Bay; its Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and at low tide, almost 25 square kilometres (10 sq. mi.) of sand is uncovered providing safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. Further afield is the port of Holyhead, which has regular ferry links to Dublin. Beaumaris is a good central base for touring Wales, in a beautiful location on the south coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, within easy reach of the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia.
