  • "This property was excellent in terms of its facilities and proximity to the beach and local amenities."

We enjoyed walks to the lovely beach (2 minutes down the hill) every day with our dog, and, despite the wet weather, used the house as a base to explore the rest of the island. It is on a quiet estate on the hillside, so the rear of the property has a nicely 'terraced' garden to enjoy in drier/warmer months. The advantage of having 2 bathrooms, one with a bath, one with a walk in shower, was perfect, especially since my elderly mum is unable to safely get into a bath now. The owners were available to advise with any issues at the drop of a hat, but, i'm pleased to say we didn't have any issues of concern, other than a recycling question!! The property is suitable for younger families, too, with a lovely, secure garden at the back, although, do be cautious with very young children of the steep steps up to the lawn. We would very much recommend this lovely property for its' location in relation to beach and local services, and if you enjoy a longer walk, the coastal paths both east and west are, quite literally, on your doorstep!!

  • "We found Tinker's Patch to be a lovely, clean, spacious, property."

It's in a good location 5 minutes walk from the beach. We were impressed by the thoughtful touches, such as the built in child's toilet seat in the shower room toilet and the USB charging points in several sockets. The thing I loved the most was the location of sockets by the mirrors in the bedrooms to allow hair drying/styling. The owners have obviously put thought into making people feel welcome and they have succeeded, thank you. A previous review stated a lack of vacuum cleaner but we found it next to the tumble drier in the garage (through the shower room). If I were to nit-pick, I would suggest leaving the instructions for the electric oven available, as I took quite a while working out which symbol was which (having an old gas cooker myself), but that's the only thing. We were unfortunate enough to be there during a storm and some serious rain, which somewhat dampened our days out, so we've booked a return to Tinker's Patch in the autumn when it will hopefully be drier.

  • "Tinkers Patch is set in a lovely location very close to the beach and pubs and places to eat."

Ideal base for touring round Anglesey. The amenities are plentiful and like a home from home. Nice touch with milk and cake on arrival. Only one point would be the lack of a vacuum cleaner but other than that this place is perfect and I would recommend.

  • "Tinkers patch is in a lovely location & its great being able to see the sea from the front windows."

Its a very comfortable place to stay & is well equipped for all your holiday needs. Owners were easily reached when we managed to lock the door to the shower room by accident & problem was soon sorted. Lots of great restaurants beaches & places to visit within 30 minutes of Benllech. Would definitely recommend to anyone holiday on Anglesey.

  • "The property was really lovely and well maintained with lots of thoughtful and useful things in the house."

It was lovely and peaceful and ideally located for us. Really nicely furnished and equipped. We felt it would have been helpful to have a washing line outside. Very clean, felt it would have been more welcoming if the weeds had been cleared from the entrance and the drive way and the decking brushed, someone’s toast had clearly been fed to the seagulls and it had not been swept away.

  • "Absolutely beautiful property that we couldn’t fault at all!"

It was a wow moment when we walked in and saw how beautifully it was decorated and how clean and tidy it looked throughout. The facilities are brilliant, the location is absolutely ideal and I loved that there was a little book with feedback as previous guests have left ideas and recommendations of places to visit in the area which was a lovely touch. The location was brilliant as it’s a quick 10 minute walk to the beach (the little sea view from the property was also very much appreciated) and a short walk away from the shops and restaurants which was very useful, especially with children. Such an amazing stay and I’m sure we’ll be back! Would highly recommend as it’s such a wonderful property

Short walk to fab beach which we loved.
