The property

Middlemuir Retreat is a delightful lodge settled into a holiday park in the idyllic shore of Tarbolton, South Ayrshire.

This single-storey property presents a warm feel and is perfect for families with young children to get that much-needed quality time surrounded by the countryside.

Venturing up the steps leading to the lodge, you will be presented with an open-plan kitchen and living space with a dining table fit for four people.

This space has ample amenities, such as a fridge/freezer, electric oven and a microwave to ensure all your cooking demands are met.

After dinner, enjoy an evening of relaxation on the sofa and cosy up to the electric fire effect and put your favourite film on the Smart TV.

At the rear of the property, you will find the generous double bedroom with a WC connected.

Be sure to make the most of the TV in the wall if you want to continue the film party whilst the children are sleeping!

Next door sits the twin room awaiting sleepy heads to catch their rest.

Spend your mornings exploring the surrounding land with plenty of walking trails available, or for the adrenaline junkies, mountain biking.

You may wander to Peden’s Cove, a dog walker's dream, where you can immerse yourself in the local wildlife and breathtaking views, walking through the woods and along the river to the cove.

For the history fanatics, a short drive will bring you to Kingencleugh Castle or the Burns House Museum, where you can indulge in the history and captivate the journey of one of Scotland’s literary treasures.

After a day of walking and exploring, you may be too exhausted to cook so be sure to try out the on-site restaurant open Friday-Sunday.
