  • "Lovely cottage in a great area comfy clean and great beds bedding."

    Cooker is excellent sofas and living room cozy. Hosts very helpful providing board games and local advice. Its good value for the money as its not pricey. Small Improvements that could be made, it should be very clear on booking there is no working WiFi so you can arrive with extra data etc. TV doesn't work in the rain would be a great touch if they added a dvd player luckily we had our own but for those with kids it would be a nice easy touch to add, more books and board games in the cottage to would have been great. There was also no drying rail for clothes if you use the washer. We came with a dog and would of appreciated an enclosed garden it says you have your own outdoor area this is just 2 plastic seats at the back door. There is a dog park a walk up the woods which is great but if you had nice weather and wanted to sit out etc and relax there's not really a dedicated area you could fully relax in. A fence would much improve this as there is a small lawn area that could be utilised. These small things would mean id be happy to return and even pay a bit more. Thankyou for a great stay.

  • "The cottage is located in very quiet, beautiful countryside near Inveraray and the shores of Loch Fyne."

    The property was fully equipped and very well maintained. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The only downside that we experienced during our stay was a lack of WiFi, but hopefully this issue will be resolved very quickly for future guests.

  • "Lovely cottage with friendly owners."

    The kitchen could be better appointed and the fridge and dishwasher were fairly small for the size of accomodation, i.e. six adult guests. Additional crockery, glassware and cutlery would not go amiss.

INVERARAY

Lochgilphead 24 miles; Oban 37 miles;

Inveraray is the traditional county town of Argyll and was founded in 1745 by the Duke of Argyll. It sits on Loch Fyne and alongside the spectacular rebuilt Inveraray Castle. The town was designed to accommodate workers on the castle estate, a woollen mill and also fishermen in the booming herring industry. Many of the properties today are of great architectural significance and are protected. As well as the castle, the town today boasts many tourist attractions as well as an array of shops, restaurants and cafes. The infamous Courthouse and Jail, a floating museum converted from a former lightship. Visit the spectacular National Trust Crarae Gardens or attend the Highland Games. There is superb walking, cycling and fishing in the hills surrounding Inveraray and also the Cruachan Power Station, located inside a mountain. Oban is a pleasant drive, as is Kilmartin with its Neolithic stones. There is an abundance of attractions and all surrounded by amazing scenery.
