"We had a lovely stay at Fern Cottage."
The property was clean, comfortable and warm and the village is quiet, peaceful and very friendly. There are lots of walks from the door, but also many places a short distance away. There are also good shops and food options nearby.

"Absolutely perfect in everyway."
Location was great, cottage was immaculate with everything we needed provided, beautiful welcome pack, great communication from owner. Garden was secure for children and dog and well maintained. Highly recommended and would visit again.

"The property was found to be be in excellent condtion, very clean and of high specification."
Five of us (4 adults and a teenager) and a dog spent the week there and were very comfortable indeed. The village of Elsworth is very pretty and well catered for with 2 pubs, a community shop, and a excellent farm shop; I would recommned the cafe there. It is a very handy location for day trips to Cambridge and several tourist locations including National Trust sites. I would stay there again!

It was great having parking for three cars as we were coming from different directions. The owner/manager is very helpful and communication was excellent. We would love to return one day soon, and we highly recommend it to all.

"Fern Cottage is a beautiful place to stay."
Our party of 6 adults had a brilliant Christmas in Elsworth which is a very quiet, picturesque village but within easy access to Cambridge ( park and ride is a godsend).
The cottage is comfortable, very warm and cosy and was spotlessly clean.

"We thoroughly recommend Fern Cottage."
Apart from its beautiful, quiet location, it is spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished, and thoughtfully equipped. A real pleasure to stay in! Great pubs and community shop within easy walking distance; supermarkets, etc. close by in Cambourne and St. Ives. Communication with Jo was excellent. We would definitely stay here again - no question!

"We really enjoyed out stay in Fern Cottage."
Both the cottage and the owner were so welcoming and we enjoyed the comfort and luxury of the cottage. It was so well equipped for every eventuality and we had some lovely little surprises too. We were greeted with a welcome pack which catered for our various needs - and Buddy the dog's also. We would, of course, like to return.

"An excellent cottage, very clean and exceedingly well provisioned."
We have done many cottage based holidays and this one of the best cottages we have had, if not the best. Jo adapted the welcome pack to meet my wife's coeliac needs, which we felt was going the extra mile. Elsworth is a very nice village with two excellent pubs for dining. If you are planning a stay in this area , then this cottage is highly recommended. We certainly will be considering a return visit.

"We had a fabulous girls weekend away staying in Fern Cottage."
The cottage is spotless and beautiful inside and out and very well equipped with everything you could need. It was an added bonus to have a wet room downstairs, ideal for anyone with limited mobility.
Jo (the owner) left a very lovely welcome pack and kept in touch during our stay. Visited both the local pubs (The Poacher and George and Dragon) - can recommend both for good food and hospitality. It deserves it's 5 star rating - thank you.

"Cannot praise fern cottage enough!"
We stayed here for a long weekend when going to a wedding locally, and it was a fantastic base. Really comfortable, spotlessly clean, and a really well designed space (nice sized rooms, good storage, and a nice open downstairs space, but with privacy if you wanted it). The owners were really welcoming, and even had provided age appropriate toys for the kids (a baby and a toddler), and an allergy appropriate welcome basket. Normally, travelling with 2 small kids is about 10 times more tiring than staying at home, but we actually managed to relax a bit here, which is high praise indeed!

"We celebrated my Mum’s 50th at Fern Cottage and had the most amazing time."
Jo (owner) really went the extra mile to make us all feel so welcome. The house is well equipped for cooking large meals with the overall layout of the property being well thought out and beautifully decorated. We wish we had more time to explore the area as it is set in a beautiful chocolate box village with lots of footpaths and walks for dogs.
We would definitely be back to visit! Thank you so much for making our celebrations that bit more special.

The house was spacious, comfortable and had all the mod cons our family needed. Jo was communicative and helpful, and the whole process was seamless and easy. Elsworth is an idyllic village, and we had a wonderful time exploring the nearby sights (when not at the local pub!). Would absolutely stay at Fern Cottage again, and highly recommend!

"Super stay at Fern Cottage."
We were a group of 4 adults age range 55 to 87 and one black lab.
House is very comfortable and easy to settle in to with semi open plan downstairs, ideal. Lovely enclosed outdoor space to rear with good outside lighting.
Easy walk to both village pubs with short cut through Church yard to George & Dragon !
Lovely week spent discovering the beautiful Cambridgeshire towns and villages - Ely, St Ives, Cambridge (of course) St Neots, Saffron Walden over the border!

The facilities were excellent and the welcome pack was very useful. The village was delightful and peaceful yet being so close to Cambridge made sightseeing very easy.

"The cottage was amazing everything we needed and more!"
Lovely welcome pack, loads of toys for the children, outdoor wet play area, kitchen well equipped and top quality appliances. Jo was very helpful and left lots of cleaning things including plenty of dishwasher tablets!
Beds very comfy and with 3 toilets and bathrooms no queue for morning showers.
Great location and the village itself very pretty and so quiet with the only shop open in the morning.
Probably one of the best cottages we’ve stayed at.

They had everything we needed available and was very well kept and beautifully done up. We additionally loved that the owner provided all information that may be useful to us in the handbook at the property. Everything was very organized. The neighborhood was also very very friendly. I would 110% recommend the property and would definitely go again when we get the time!
