  • "The cottage was lovely and as described."

It is well maintained, clean and well stocked with glasses, mugs, utensils etc and we were kindly left some goodies and tea/coffee was provided. Would be lovely to visit in the summer and take advantage of the large garden. Unfortunately the wifi was down for the duration of our stay. The owner did try to rectify this and kept in communication, but unfortunately it wasn't fixed until we left and also meant no access to TV due to the set-up. It did impact our visit as we were all on the same mobile network and had very little signal, which made communication with family we were visiting more difficult. Would recommend Luke's taxi's from Downham Market who helped us with travel while we were there.

  • "Extremely clean, well maintained property with a fabulous garden space."

Would be nice if the main bedroom had a bigger bed (so used to a Superking). The bath towels were tiny too. The en-suite was a great space although there was quite a potent smell in there, certainly nothing was bad in this property that would not let us come back to it, thoroughly recommend it to anyone else. Would also have been nice to get live tv (free view at the very least) we could use the Smart TV, but live TV was not available on ITVX (missed Emmerdale and had to watch on catch up next day) we did log into our Netflix account though so no deal breaker. Lovely cottage

  • "We really enjoyed our little mini break."

The garden was brilliant as we were just reconnecting as a family and spent most of our time relaxing together. The cottage was lovely and comfortable with all we needed for an enjoyable stay. Emma the host was easy to communicate with and very helpful. And we loved the little treats left for our arrival. We enjoyed a walk from the cottage to Denver Sluice. I arranged for a food delivery from the Morrison’s which was really handy as it arrived the day we did. So there was no worry about finding food shops and we enjoyed a takeaway. The cottage is in a convenient location for a pleasant stay.

  • "Super property in a lovely village."

The owner couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, she even leaves you a little welcome gift! Denver Windmill is just up the road with a cute tea rooms and a nice bar while Denver golf club opposite has a good value cafe and was very welcoming. The famous Denver sluice is an interesting and attractive place where the rivers meet. The local pub isn't bad either! Lily Cottage is spotlessly clean and well equipped. Comfy bed and sofas, lovely dining area looking onto the garden. Highly recommend!
