Many thanks for feedback we will speak to Sykes re listing and I am sure they will revert back to you . In meantime we do trust the family (including extra adult guest to booking whom arrived ) all enjoyed the time we devoted to enhancing your stay by the time spent with alpacas, herding, feeding meet and greet etc which all seemed to enjoy. This of course was not in listing and was additional “ to listing” and of course at no extra charge. Hope to see you again soon Property Owner

Clare and Steve were superb hosts going over and above what we expected. Clare involved us with the alpacas, who we loved. We were able to walk with them and also to help to feed them. The children loved their stay on the farm and Clare was very patient, aKeats answering their many questions. The house is wonderful, large, modern and everything you could want. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Clare and Steve for making our stay so wonderful.

  • "We had a great time at the Colomendy Farmhouse."

It has a really spacious, light, stylish and well-equipped family-sized kitchen/dining room. Having also the equivalent of two reception rooms (a cosy farmhouse style living room and a separate games room) is a bonus for people staying here with children or a larger group. When the weather turned cold and damp, it was lovely that the house (including the two bathrooms) warmed up well. The hosts were second to none in being welcoming, friendly and helpful and introduced us to their alpaca herd and the other 3 farm animals. We were smitten with the droll presence of the alpaca "girls" and "boys" just across the drive from the house. A peaceful and relaxing setting and a well-looked after accommodation with very good road access to North Wales, the Wirral and - when using the Metropolitan train network - also Liverpool.

Many thanks for your kind words we hope to see you again Kind regards Clare and Steve Property Owner

  • "We had a wonderful stay at the farm house."

Received a warm welcome from Clare and some generous groceries to get us started. The property was peaceful and spotless with everything we needed. Comfy bed, soft towels and a lovely kitchen. Clare also went out of her way to provide an office chair at short notice when I had to work unexpectedly. The alpacas provide a lovely peaceful atmosphere and the kids enjoyed them. Note that there is no downstairs loo and a few flies make their way in but also that there are no farm smells which is a huge bonus. An iron and ironing board would’ve been good but I’m sure would be available upon request. Great location to explore north Wales and Liverpool. Would love to visit again.

Many thanks for feedback Indeed ironing board and iron readily available as is tumble clothes dryer and large overflow fridge freezer. Welcome pack provided with groceries Down stairs loo not in property and not described in property Note. There are two bathrooms one en suite in three bedroom farm house . Listing accuracy will be discussed with Sykes properties as narrated by Sykes based on thorough inspection - Facilities as description which include no charge Alpaca trekking and interaction with Alpacas miniature shetlands and bill the goat to guests by arrangement. It is a Working Alpaca Farm Many thanks for feedback Property Owner

It’s beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the owner is lovely. The children had the best time, they didn’t want to leave. I’m surprised one didn’t try to sneak an alpaca or a goat into the car.

Steve and Clare were extremely kind, generous and welcoming hosts. The house is super well equipped and had everything we needed to enjoy a lovely stay over Christmas and New Year. It was so nice to wake up to see the alpacas in the fields, and is a great place from which to explore the North Wales coast and Chester and the North West. Even the grumpy teenagers enjoyed themselves as there was plenty of space and games to keep them occupied on rainy evenings. I do hope we will be back to stay soon!
