6 properties on Berry St, Conwy. Google maps took us to the wrong one, the correct one is next to the kebab/pizza shop. The manager of the cottage owns the shop & was very helpful. I had enquired about accessing the parking space as there were no instructions in the Directions on the booking confirmation. The full info is: Pass the kebab shop; at the cross roads, just before the traffic lights, turn left towards the estuary; left again, before the arch, into the back of the properties, park behind Chandlers Cottage, the name is on the property. The area behind all the properties could do with some sprucing, but there's a lovely view over the town walls to the estuary from upstairs rooms. Also note, there are a few steep steps to the back door & a step up at the front; the heating thermostat is on the first landing; the boiler has a manual timer & the cold tap is on the right in the kitchen but the left in the bathroom. The rooms were very clean & the bathroom recently refurbished. A chair in the main bedroom, something to hang clothes on in the second bedroom & some instructions would be useful. Having said all that, we had a very enjoyable few days away, the cottage & parking are very convenient & the manager very helpful & friendly.

    Thank you xxx Property Owner

  • "Enjoyed our stay at the cottage, everything was very clean, fresh and comfortable."

My friend and I did struggle a bit with all the stairs and a big step up and down the front door step. A detailed description of how to find the parking would be useful, as we went round the town 3 times and asked people where to find the parking, we didn't realise you could drive past the the smallest house and through the arches to get to the car park, maybe some photos or signs would have made this easier. Also although we enjoyed our stay and the cottage and the area, unfortunately someone scratched all down one side of my car while it was parked at the back of the house. The house was in an ideal spot otherwise to explore Conwy and other attractions nearby, Llandudno, Snowdon etc.,

Hi thank you lm glad you’re enjoyed your holiday.sorry for your car for been scratched never come across something like that before if you are know the date there’s cctv recording l can happily watch it thanks again Property Owner

  • "This was an amazing place that facilitated my son and I having a fantastic holiday visiting castles in Northern Wales."

It is perfectly situated to see Conwy, the walls, and walk on the docks. Every morning I woke up to a beautiful view of the estuary / bay over the 800-year-old wall. ❤️ The host was fantastic as well - amazingly available when we had a question, but not at all intrusive. Great value. Highly recommend.

Thank you soo much xxx Property Owner

CONWY

Llandudno 5 miles; Betws-y-Coed 16 miles.

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is without doubt world famous for its historical and architectural heritage, yet at the heart of the town lies a hub of bustling activity. Alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, there is an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, Master James of St George's design, Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. The distinctive, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight massive towers and a great bow-shaped hall was perhaps determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs, including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, along with other musical events throughout the year. Conwy is the perfect base for exploring the dramatic Snowdonia National Park, walking unspoilt sandy beaches, or taking in the wonderful scenery on your doorstep. Also within reach are the Llechwedd Slate Caverns to enjoy
