  • "The old stables is very spacious and comfortable."

    We have had a lovely break there. Just a couple of teething problems... the boiler decided to stop heating water on on first day, but the owners acted quickly and were very supportive and responsive in sending their plumber to quickly correct it. And just one of the mattresses on the numerous beds was not as comfortable as the others, so maybe its due a replacement soon. This did not spoil our stay and its a very convenient location for seafront walks and of course the lovely little town of Rhos. Would stop here again.

  • "Just returned from a fabulous week in the old stables."

    A spacious house we did not feel cramped (6 adults 2 small children). The games room was great the kids loved it, and we felt they were safe outside as there is a gate and no other exit. A short walk to the beach and not far to llandudno and Conway castle in the car. Only a few negatives, Beds are small and not comfy. Could do with a deeper clean. Cooker needs attention. Asked for a baby gate but didn't get one. That being said we would stay here again.

    It’s true that the beds are standard doubles not larger, but we will check out the mattresses as soon as the summer season is over. I apologise that you thought a deeper clean was needed. We have had an engineer out to check the oven following your feedback. We are so glad that you otherwise enjoyed your holiday. Property Owner

The property

The Old Stables is a pleasant, detached property cleverly nestled out of sight from the road, yet only yards from the superb beach and coastline of Rhos-on-Sea, on the picturesque North Wales coast.

This Rhos-on-Sea cottage provides warm and comfortable accommodation for families, boasting an large courtyard and proximity to local amenities and the beach.

There are four good-sized bedrooms in this Rhos-on-Sea cottage, two of which are designed as family rooms with a double and single bed in each, one with a door into the family shower room, which can also be accessed via the hall.

A large sitting room, a dining room and a fully fitted kitchen provide all the social space you will need inside, and with an enclosed courtyard to the front, edged by private garages, it affords a safe area for kids to play on bikes and skateboards outside.

A double garage offers a full-size table tennis table, table football and a dart board as a further play area.

A brisk stroll across the road and you are on the superb beach, which is ideal for bathing, and within a short walk away, you are able to reach the main promenade and stroll along safely, whilst watching the seaside activities and boats in the harbour, or stop and visit one of the many shops and cafes along the front.

Guests who are enthusiastic walkers can walk Conwy Mountain or take the short drive to climb in the Snowdonia Mountains.

The elegant seaside resort of Rhos-on-Sea is a coastal town in North Wales. With its picturesque harbour and relaxed atmosphere, it is the ideal location for a peaceful holiday. Situated in the shadow of the towering Bryn Euryn, with Penrhyn Bay to the west and Colwyn Bay to the east, there is plenty to keep everybody occupied.
