It is located in a beautiful setting, surrounded by trees, rabbits, birds and cows! There is also a stream at the back of the property that you can access easily - our kids loved paddling there almost as much as playing with the trampoline, swings, and Max the cat! The owners were brilliant, hugely welcoming and cottage exceeded expectations (the pictures online don’t do it justice!). It has been recently renovated - it was spotless and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay and all the fittings and furnishings were new and clean. The addition of stair gates and plastic crockery for the young guests was such a helpful detail. We will definitely be back!

The popular Camel Trail for cyclists and walkers also winds its way through the town on its journey to the sea at Padstow. Close by are the open spaces and wind swept grandeur of Bodmin Moor while the incomparable Eden Project (11 miles), Falmouth’s National Maritime Museum (30 miles) and the beautiful harbour town of Padstow with its famous pubs and restaurants (16 miles) make for great days out. Also within easy reach and ideal for a fun-filled day out, guests can visit Lanhydrock House, the small town of Fowey and Charlestown with its Tall Ships, The Eden Project and Lostwithiel.
