“Cream teas and milk in the fridge on arrival was great and the property was clean, but is very tired and dated.”

It has the potential to be amazing but it feels like you are living back in the 1980’s. Every cupboard in the kitchen is absolutely full of ‘stuff’ meaning there is nowhere for you to put food or anything you brought with you. The TV only worked sporadically as it has a loose connection and the shower was disappointing and the front door only stays closed if you lock it! ...

We were aware there was no downstairs WC, but it was more of an issue than we expected as we took elderly family with us- the utility room is a huge waste of space - plenty of room to incorporate a downstairs WC- but as I’ve already said- the house needs money spending on it. The garden is a positive, getting the sun for most of the day. We also had telecom workman digging holes in the road for two days, blocking the driveway and starting work at 7.30am - it would have been good to be warned! The property is in a great location, but a bit basic - so sadly not for us.
