  • "Really enjoyed our stay at the cottage."

The photos don’t do the cottage justice. It was the best equipped holiday cottage that I have ever stayed in. The owners had clearly put some thought into the property. It was very clean and comfortable. Lovely white bath sheets and hotel style bedding. Iron and hairdryer supplied. The garden is lovely and the lawn was mowed and hot tub cleaned during our stay. It’s five minutes to the coastal footpath for walking. Tintagel village has everything you need.

Thank you for a lovely review. So glad you enjoyed your stay.. Property Owner

About the location

TINTAGEL

Camelford 5.9 miles; Wadebridge 13 miles.

Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination, surrounded by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the South West Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside. Head north along the path and within a short distance is the beautiful village of Boscastle with its quaint quay and village pubs for refreshment. Further afield are the surfing meccas of Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow, Camel Estuary and Port Isaac are all within a short but scenic drive.
