“Perfect little cabin with all you ...”

Perfect little cabin with all you can need for a romantic getaway. Just a few minutes walk from Tintagel and well situated to drive to Cornwall’s other places of interest. The owners give a warm welcome and the log burner made it very cozy on the chilly evenings. I would definitely book again.

“Wow! Fabulous!”

Simple, but so well equipped! There was nothing we could have asked for. It was all there. We had an amazing week. It is a gentle walk to Tintagel that takes approximately 15 minutes. The walk down to Bossiney Cove is very steep with lots of steps however well worth the explore! The wood burner is fantastic and we had cosy nights in front of the fire. It was a quiet, idyllic, winter’s week in which were able to totally relax. Be aware that in winter, as expected a lot of places, in Tintagel, are closed during the winter. However this did not stop us having a pub meal and a glass of wine out! Trebarwith Strand is worth a visit and is a 3 mile cliff walk from Tintagel . Thanks ... superb week!

We loved this holiday . It was a great wee cabin. If we had to offer suggestions about anything that could be improved we would suggest a fridge with an ice compartment but other than that the place was perfect x

It was lovely to see the ducks and chickens every morning. The cabin was very quaint, very clean and wonderfully warm. The owners were great to, nothing was to much trouble. Fantastic.

“Its a brilliant cozy little cottage ...”

Its a brilliant cozy little cottage spotless clean with a mini fire place that kept us warm thru the whole week. It is a home away from home. Very well maintained by the owner and chicken and ducks and horses were also there to acompany us. Brilliant location and is minutes walk away from the coast. We cant wait to book it again. Very highly recomended to every one.

“Just lovely”

My daughter and I have just spent a perfect week at Sunny Cabin. The chalet has just about everything you need and is beautifully situated close to Bossinney Haven, a beautiful cove. The chalet is on a smallholding with other rental properties with the owners visiting twice daily to see to animals but it still very much affords privacy. The ducks and chickens will give you a warm welcome! They are charming and we spent most evenings in their delightful company. The chalet is within walking distance to Tintagel and close to St Nectan's Glen which is well worth a visit. All in all a lovely, peaceful place to stay and a good base for exploring North Cornwall. Highly recommended.

“Sunny Cabin is set in lovely, ...”

Sunny Cabin is set in lovely, peaceful, private surroundings. The cabin is ideal for a couple, within a short walk to the coastal path. The cabin has everything you could wish for and every morning we were greeted by the ducks and chickens. We wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

“Restful”

My husband and I were so pleased with Sunny Cabin that we have already booked to return for a holiday next year. It is very peaceful and private. The scenery around and near to the location is stunning. We found lots of walks and lots of interesting things to do. The Cabin itself was comfortable with all of the essential items to hand.

“Absolutely Fantastic”

Brilliant find. Owners superb. Roxanne and family made us feel as part of the family. Excellent location. We loved the livestock. It was nice to be visited each morning by the ducks. Sunny Cabin was well equipped and cosy. Close to amenities , easy reach of Tintagel, Port Issac, Padstow and other surrounding locations. I will definitely be returning.

“Modern Yet Rustic”

We wanted a quiet retreat for two in a good location for walking in the area and Sunny Cabin delivered on both counts.It is small yet charming. The only improvement would be a separate bedroom but for us it didn't really matter. A great centre for visiting lots of the local attractions and some fantastic coastal walking.

Round House Cottages

Tintagel 0.5 miles. Situated in the small coastal village of Bossiney, 0.5 miles from Tintagel in north Cornwall, these cottages are on the owners’ smallholding where there are ponies, chickens and fabulous views over fields towards the sea. These attractive Tintagel cottages have been created from the farmhouse and farm buildings and each retains its own privacy, with its own front entrance with garden, and all overlook the paddocks. With a variety of accommodation options these Tintagel cottages sleep up to thirteen people, ideal for family and group gatherings near the Cornish coast. Just a short walk away lies the small beach at Bossiney Cove, ideal for beachcombers, while the great surfing beach at Trebarwith Strand, with its beachside pubs and cafes, lies just a little further. The legendary King Arthur's Castle is just under a mile away from these Tintagel cottages, while Camlann, the believed site of King Arthur's last battle, and the accompanying visitor centre, provide a feast for history buffs. There is much for families to see and do from these well-presented Tintagel cottages.

The property

This ground floor Tintagel studio apartment has an open plan living space with a sitting area in front of the woodburning stove, a sleeping area with double bed and a fitted kitchen area overlooking the farm paddocks.

There is a modern feel to this Tintagel cottage, which benefits from the sun all day long, and a hugely warm welcome from the owners who live on site.

About the location

TINTAGEL

Camelford 6 miles; Wadebridge 12 miles.

Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination. The surrounding area is dominated by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the SW Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside. Head north along the path and in 2.5 miles is the beautiful village of Boscastle with its quaint quay and village pubs for refreshment. Further afield are the surfing meccas of Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow and the Camel Estuary are all within a 40-minute drive.
