    Rob was very helpful with the whole process from booking several months ago until we departed. The annexe is very quiet and located in lovely grounds. It is also very easy to get into Truro. Our first visit to the city and we really enjoyed our visit. The annexe is very well equipped and has everything you could possibly need. We hope to return as soon as we can.

  • "Brilliant holiday stay in a perfect location for easily visiting Roseland, St Mawes,Trelissick Gardens and Truro."

    Idless Woods nearby are a not to be missed bonus. Truro directly via bus, or Park and Ride is a must visit, particularly the amazing cathedral- we never tire of visiting this. Brambleside's beautiful gardens are a joy, with the cottage's own comfy outside seating area too. Rob, Gill and Matt could not have been more welcoming and helpful - plus a lovely cream tea welcome! Thank you all.

    You feel at home the minute you walk in, warmly greeted by the owners. Lovely cottage, well equipped, exquisitely furnished. All basic supplies available (tea, coffee, as well as hand soap etc). Comfortable bed. Soft towels. This is the cleanest rental accommodation I have ever stayed at. The grounds are immaculate. The comprehensive welcome pack was a lovely surprise. Thank you! We would definitely recommend this property.

    The bungalow was immaculate in every way, nothing was left to chance. The hosts, Rob and Gill, were exceptional and were always on hand in case of any queries. The lovely welcome pack was just that, tea, sugar, coffee, milk and cream teas were waiting for us. Very thoughtful and enjoyable. We thoroughly recommend the bungalow to anyone wishing to have privacy whilst on holiday and to enjoy Cornwall at its best. The location is perfect for exploring all of Cornwall.

    The settee although comfortable was difficult to get the foot rest to work. The welcome pack was appreciated, cream scones are my favourite. Rob and Gill were very friendly and made us feel at home straight away. We would book here again if we travel back to Cornwall.

    A warm welcome from hosts who live on site. Pretty grounds with off road parking. Secluded outside seating area. Accommodation was spacious, very clean and attractively decorated. Very comfortable and warm. Excellent kitchen with an outstanding range of equipment. The Cornish cream tea and cider was a delightful surprise. The hosts have provided many homely touches to make this cottage a real home from home. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again in this property.

  • "As we needed to be Truro based Brambleside was ideal, only five minutes drive to the centre of Truro and Waitrose is only a couple of minutes drive away."

    Matt, Rob and Jill (Gill?) genuinely want you to be comfortable and enjoy your stay and we really appreciated this. In the evenings we enjoyed having a glass of wine in the peaceful, private outdoor seating space - once listening to bell-ringing from Truro Cathedral! We will definitely be returning.

    We had a brilliant weeks holiday at Lower Brambleside. The accommodation has everything you could ever want and more. It is beautifully decorated, the bed is very comfy, and the surrounding grounds are stunning. The many extras on arrival, including cream tea, biscuits , tea coffee , bottles of cider , milk etc were an added bonus and a very nice touch. We mentioned it was our wedding anniversary and Rob knocked the door with a bottle of champagne which was an amazing touch to top off the holiday. Lower Brambleside is ideally located for visiting all of Cornwall from its central position. Rob and Gill clearly work very hard on the property and grounds and staying has given us memories we will never forget. We will definitely return.

    The bungalow was spotless and very spacious, lovely fluffy towels! As others have said it really does have everything you need, we normally take kitchen towels, soap etc to rentals but this has it all. Set in lovely gardens, Rob and Jill have worked hard to create a beautiful space and the bungalow also has its own private garden area with seats. Secure setting with being buzzed in and out of the gates. Very good location for seeing Cornwall!

  • "Lower Brambleside is a real Cornish gem and we thoroughly enjoyed our week there."

    The owners, Rob and Gill couldn’t do enough for us to ensure the stay was perfect. The bungalow is so spacious, clean and has everything you need. Outside there are lovely gardens and a secluded part for Lower Brambleside which is a real sun trap. This area has table and chairs so you can enjoy your meals outdoors and 2 comfy swing seats. We walked in to Truro one day and explored the lovely city. It is also very central to places like St Mawes, Fowey, Mevagissey and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. We hope to return next year if not later this year to Lower Brambleside.

  • "A lovely holiday home set in beautiful large garden."

    Ample secure parking and entrance gate which is monitored by CCTV. The owners live on site and are a lovely friendly family who gave us such a warm welcome on arrival. Everything in the property is of an excellent standard with homely touches chosen by the" Lady of the House". The location, off the A39 just North of Truro is excellent for routes to all parts of Cornwall. We chose it mainly for its proximity to our family who live nearby. It was great to spend evenings at Lower Brambleside relaxing after busy days with them. A big thank you to Bob, Gill and Matt.
