Rob and Gill were generous and friendly hosts, we were welcomed with gorgeous Cornish produce, and they went to extra lengths to give the bungalow a lovely festive feel for our holiday. The bungalow is very secure and has everything you could need for a short or extended stay, which added to a ‘home from home’ experience. We hope to return!

Quality furnishings throughout..so comfortable. Owners so helpful, but unobtrusive. The bungalow was such a cosy and comfortable place to come back to after a days sightseeing. It is ideally placed to visit many of the popular places in Cornwall. We would recommend this bungalow and would love to visit it again.

  • "As we needed to be Truro based Brambleside was ideal, only five minutes drive to the centre of Truro and Waitrose is only a couple of minutes drive away."

Matt, Rob and Jill (Gill?) genuinely want you to be comfortable and enjoy your stay and we really appreciated this. In the evenings we enjoyed having a glass of wine in the peaceful, private outdoor seating space - once listening to bell-ringing from Truro Cathedral! We will definitely be returning.

  • "Lovely stay at Brambleside, thank you to Rob and Jill for the warm welcome."

The bungalow was spotless and very spacious, lovely fluffy towels! As others have said it really does have everything you need, we normally take kitchen towels, soap etc to rentals but this has it all. Set in lovely gardens, Rob and Jill have worked hard to create a beautiful space and the bungalow also has its own private garden area with seats. Secure setting with being buzzed in and out of the gates. Very good location for seeing Cornwall!

  • "Rob and Gill are amazing hosts."

We had a brilliant weeks holiday at Lower Brambleside. The accommodation has everything you could ever want and more. It is beautifully decorated, the bed is very comfy, and the surrounding grounds are stunning. The many extras on arrival, including cream tea, biscuits , tea coffee , bottles of cider , milk etc were an added bonus and a very nice touch. We mentioned it was our wedding anniversary and Rob knocked the door with a bottle of champagne which was an amazing touch to top off the holiday. Lower Brambleside is ideally located for visiting all of Cornwall from its central position. Rob and Gill clearly work very hard on the property and grounds and staying has given us memories we will never forget. We will definitely return.

  • "Lower Brambleside is a real Cornish gem and we thoroughly enjoyed our week there."

The owners, Rob and Gill couldn’t do enough for us to ensure the stay was perfect. The bungalow is so spacious, clean and has everything you need. Outside there are lovely gardens and a secluded part for Lower Brambleside which is a real sun trap. This area has table and chairs so you can enjoy your meals outdoors and 2 comfy swing seats. We walked in to Truro one day and explored the lovely city. It is also very central to places like St Mawes, Fowey, Mevagissey and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. We hope to return next year if not later this year to Lower Brambleside.

Ample secure parking and entrance gate which is monitored by CCTV. The owners live on site and are a lovely friendly family who gave us such a warm welcome on arrival. Everything in the property is of an excellent standard with homely touches chosen by the" Lady of the House". The location, off the A39 just North of Truro is excellent for routes to all parts of Cornwall. We chose it mainly for its proximity to our family who live nearby. It was great to spend evenings at Lower Brambleside relaxing after busy days with them. A big thank you to Bob, Gill and Matt.
