Houses In Carbis Bay

Carbis Bay cottages, self catering beach houses and villas that have been carefully designed, or renovated specifically to provide luxury holiday accommodation.

The property

Set on the seaward side of Carbis Bay, just off the Headland Road this lovely three bedroom pet friendly house, which welcomes friendly small dogs, is perfectly positioned for a family holiday, close to Carbis Bay Beach, the stunning coastal paths which circle Cornwall and a scenic railway.

The entrance hall, on the seaward side, leads to a spacious living area comprising a conservatory, sitting area and study, the sitting area is thoughtfully furnished in contemporary style with a “seaside feel” with comfortable seating for six, this is ideally placed to enjoy the entertainment provided on the large 50” television, with Sky package including Cinema and Sport, additional seating can be found in the conservatory, which extends off the sitting area, here you will find wicker chairs and coffee table, a great place to escape to with a book, just off the sitting area is a separate study room, a perfect place for the family pet.

The dining area is conveniently located next to the kitchen, this light spacious space has a stylish glass top dining table and six chairs and two highchairs, so the whole family can enjoy dining together, French doors lead out from the dining space to a sunny enclosed rear courtyard, open them up and let in the fresh Cornish air, or when possible enjoy dining alfresco in the Cornish sunshine.

A contemporary kitchen located between the sitting area and dining space, perfect for socialising with the chef, is well appointed with everything to make your holiday enjoyable, a separate utility room is nearby.

All the bedrooms are upstairs, the master king sized bedroom is light and airy, natural light flows in through the large window, to the rear you’ll find a comfortable double bedroom with a third front facing room fitted with two single beds, for younger guests this room has two cots, guests need to provide their own bedding for the travel cots, all rooms offer a spacious wardrobe and a chest of drawers, plenty of space for your holiday outfits, the family bathroom is next to the bedrooms on the first floor, it has a bath with shower-over, so you can enjoy a lazy soak after a day exploring, a useful shower room can be found on the ground floor, ideal for sandy feet.

An enclosed decked courtyard garden area to the rear of the property, is accessed from the dining area French doors, a lovely space for drinks in the sun.

If you're bringing your pet dog friendly beach Porthkidney Sands is easily accessed along the stunning South West Coast Path, or a short walk along Headland Road brings you to Carbis Bay Beach, this secluded bay is idyllic for water sports and swimming in it’s blue flag award winning waters.

If you love walking continue along the dramatic cliffside path towards St Ives.

This beautiful traditional fishing village has a wealth of restaurants, cafes and unique shops to explore, enjoy wondering around its cobbled streets looking for a gift, you may find some stunning artwork too as St Ives is renowned for its famous artist, home to the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, once one of its famous local residence, a scenic train connects St Ives and Carbis Bay and it’s surrounding area, so if you’re after a more relaxing journey jump on board.

Further afield a trip to Land’s End is a must and while you’re in the area treat yourself to a night of open air theatre, The Minack has one of the most stunning settings on a cliff edge, or maybe a walk out to the magical St Michaels Mount at low tide will capture your imagination near Penzance, or explore one of Cornwall’s glorious gardens, The Eden Project near St Austell is the most famous but there are plenty across the county.

If you’re searching for a fabulous base to bring the whole family on holiday, including your dogs then Carvean is ideal.
