  • "Hebaska is a beautiful spacious holiday home."

Very clean and well stocked. Beds and linen all top quality. Being an upside down house gave you the benefit of a sea view from the balcony.

Thank you so much. We are very pleased you liked your stay at "Hebaska". We hope to welcome you back in the near future. Kind Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

  • "We had a wonderful time In Cornwall."

This is the second time we have booked with Sykes Cottages. Hebaska was perfectly presented and the location and type of property was super for our family. We enjoyed many a night playing badminton in the garden which is a perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day at the coast. Thank you to the property owner and to the wonderful cleaner who contacted us on the second week at the property. She was extremely helpful offering to change bedding/towels and also provided information about when the bin go out. The only down side, there was no recycling service at the property. This was not the owners policy, but I believe it was the local council who make the decision. Sad to see so many bottles go in to the first weeks general waste. The cleaner however, came up trumps when she offered to recycle the second week for us. She was a superstar! Thank you.

Thank you so much for your lovely Feedback following your recent holiday at Hebaska and we are so pleased to hear you had a wonderful time and found it the perfect place to unwind and relax. We all agree with you too, that the Housekeeper at Hebaska is a superstar! We do hope to be able to welcome you back again in the future. Kind regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "Nice to see some of the suggestions previously made by other customers had been actioned, change of chairs on balcony, blind to main window for balcony."

Nice touch with the dog bowls and treats, unfortunately our pooch was too fussy so wouldn't eat them. Might be an idea to get a blind on the Velux in the lounge which faces the buildings at the back, the sun just hits you right in the eye late afternoon early evening! Booked again to come next April we love the location, so quiet and within easy access of main roads, train station. Pillow, bed and bedding is fab and so comfy. Third visit next year. See you April 2023.

Thank you so much for your wonderful, positive feedback. We are thrilled to hear that you loved the property and your stay so much! We appreciate your comments and can confirm the owner has ordered blinds for the velux as suggested. We look forward to welcoming you back in April next year. Thank you so much again for your kind words. Kind Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

It’s the second time we have stayed at this property and looking forward to staying there next year. The only problem is the huge jump in price not sure how you justify that amount. Did expect a small increase because it had increased from the first year but the jump in price this year doesn’t seem correct.

Dear Irene, Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback for your recent stay at Hebaska. We are delighted to hear you were lucky with the weather, always makes a holiday in Carbis Bay that bit more special when the sun is shining, it truly put emphasis on the stunning beaches we have. The prices are under constant review, so please be assured that we always take guest feedback on board and make sure the owner is happy with the prices, and this is reflected in the changes we make. We look forward to inviting you back in the very near future. Kind Regards, Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

  • "I believe my complaint is being dealt with due to the construction site outside our property."

The note on the listing said it wouldn’t affect our sea and rural views which it blatantly does! The house was immaculate as always and couldn’t fault it, just the noise and operations of the site. What should have been a relaxing, peaceful break in a beautiful house didn’t materialise as we had to go out everyday to avoid the commotion .

Dear Anne, Thank you for your feedback. We apologies for the information regarding the construction work; we are closely monitoring this and updating the website with our findings. Its lovely to hear that your enjoyed your stay other than the construction issue. Kind Regards, Carbis Bay Holidays Property Owner
