  • "Lovely property, amazing views, better than photos in my opinion."

We had a couple of issues at start with the bed slats falling off, however contacted the Agents and they very quickly fixed the problem. There is a wonderful beach side restaurant next to the beach with spectacular views and reasonably priced would highly recommend. Train ride to St Ives is a must and only £1.00 per person each way. A beautiful place to visit.

  • "On arrival we were very impressed, high end fixtures and fittings."

Although when we came to cook dinner we had to wash every pan before we could use it,the wok was rusty. The lights above the washer/dryer were caked in grease/ dust and the opening windows were filthy inside and out. There was a cigarette above the cooker for some reason (none of our party smoked) We had issues with the heating especially at night when it went colder we followed instructions but to no avail. We eventually phoned Carbis bay who did exactly what we did but still the temperature did not move. Unfortunately we didn’t see the housekeeping notice which was hidden under our coats which we filled on arrival. A nail clipping greeted us on the dining room table. There was a hair in the bowls just as we were putting dinner out so we quickly had to wash all the plates, The apartment was full of dust and hair , I actually swept up on the Sunday under the settee and I was going to vacuum,However the bag in the vacuum was absolutely full to bursting. I was a little bit taken aback at the standard of cleaning and I’ll be suprised if it was actually cleaned prior to our visit. We arrived at 3 and were suprised to be able to get into the apartment. I didn’t want to say anything at the time because I didn’t want the hassle of someone coming in whilst we were there. I was on holiday. Disappointed to say the least my son was also disappointed because we couldn’t find the charging lead to the PlayStation. But other than that we had a good time !

Thank you for your feedback, we are very sorry to hear of the issues you encountered during your stay, we can confirm we have passed your comments onto the housekeeping team to ensure all cleanliness issues are rectified. We can confirm check in is at 4pm so the housekeeper may have not had time to check the property was up to the usual high standards. We are pleased to hear other than the issues you experienced you had a good time and we hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back again in the future. Thank you for your feedback, we are very sorry to hear you arrived to no welcome hamper we will be sure to feed this back to the housekeeper. We apologies that the rails hadn’t been cleaned we will be sure to rectify these issues, as parking is premium in the area Sea Vista is lucky to have one allocated space however there is residential parking nearby where a second car is required. Please note our local office is open Monday- Friday 9am-5:30pm and we will be more than happy to assist with any issues you find during your stay. • "The apartment was amazing, so clean and very well equipped there was nothing more we could have asked for."

The view across the bay was spectacular we spent more time watching the ever changing sky and sea than the TV. The electrical equipment was all very high spec. The only problem we found was we were unable to find the correct coffee pods for the machine. The biggest down side was a very long steep hill down to the beach which I could not do as I'm waiting for a hip replacement so only visited once. The beach carpark was very small and wanted £20 a day to park. Also food on the beach was limited and very expensive. Wouldn't visit again on this basis. But could not fault the apartment as a base to travel to other locations.

  • "Overall the property was lovely, spacious, well stocked cutlery and crockery."

Beds really comfortable. The views were amazing too!! Unfortunately every room wasn't cleaned to a high standard that i would expect at this price. Some of the cutlery had hairs on them, as was the plates and bowls. There were also hairs in the sinks in both bathrooms, and in the main bathroom under the scales (I don't think these had been moved in some time) The balcony/terrace was clean, well stocked furniture etc. My only issue was the hole to the left of the terrace where water drained to the downpipe. This was open and we had a little dog that could've quite easily fallen through, like possibly a child also. I suggest putting a piece of chicken wire or similar across. We had to use a small beach bucket from the utility cupboard. We attempted to use the washer dryer, and although the was function was fine, the dryer function was poor. You shouldn't have to dry something that took some 2 hours. Not sure whether this is a fault or not as we have the AEG product at home and it works better and faster.

  • "Loved every minute of our stay with really good weather."

The outside area needs some attention with some cleaning of the algae and the constant pooling of water on the patio does not help. Don't remember it being as bad as that on our last visit. Great setup though and excellent position. Missed the usual local apple juice and excellent cream tea that is normally provided as well as the coffee pods! Some things don't stay the same, especially the prices for next year which have increased considerably so we shall not be returning unfortunately.

Dear Gillian, Thank you for your Feedback following your recent stay at Tremorna Vista and I’m so pleased to hear you loved every minute of your stay. I have passed on your comments regarding the outside areas to the Housekeeper and Property Management Team for their attention. I’m so sorry to hear you missed the apple juice and cream tea. I’m afraid our apple juice supplier has had a few manufacturing issues but hopefully this will be resolved soon and it was decided not to provide cream teas during the pandemic to alleviate handling items as much as possible but I hope you were able to use your voucher for the local bakery who normally supply our cream teas and treat yourself. With regards to the increase in prices this is due to the current demand for staycations which has increased prices in line with other letting agencies throughout the country. We would like to re-assure you that the prices for 2022 are all monitored very closely and priced with seasonal variance and demand to establish the right balance. Thank you again for your Feedback. There was only 2 toilet rolls in the apartment, and considering it could sleep up to 6 people, only lasted days, no extra bin bags or kitchen rolls. I actually left 6 toilet rolls behind! Going supermarket shopping on my second day of a holiday is not ideal. The apartment furnishings were very tasteful and lovely, bedrooms and kitchen/dining area very spacious and pleasing, with amazing views. The BBQ looked like it hadn't been cleaned or even touched for a very long time and the outdoor balcony needs a good jet wash and clean.

Dear Dawn, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave feedback following your recent stay at Sea Vista. I am very sorry to hear you had a problem with your allocated parking space at St Margaret’s. With regards to the side gate, I’m afraid we are not supplied with a key to this, as it is only used by the Management Co at the development. Thank you for your comment regarding the supply of the various sundries, this is our normal allocation but I will certainly pass on your comments to our Property Management Dept for their consideration. I have also informed them of the BBQ and outside area. I am pleased that you found the furnishings at Sea Vista very tasteful and lovely and good to hear you enjoyed the views from the apartment.
