    Everything that you could want is there, you have to drag yourself away from the window view across the bay and St Michael’s Mount. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to explore the local area.

    "We had a wonderful stay with our kids at the long barn."

    Neil was always very freindly and helpful. The view is incredible even on days with bad weather.The place at the window is the perfect place to relax with a good book and a coffee-or tea. For the kids there is plenty of space outside to run, play ball or fly a kite. Also it is perfect to explore the Penwith Peninsula

    "Really Enjoyed our stay at the Long Barn, very nice cottage with everything you could wish for for a comfortable stay."

    If I was going to be mega fussy the mattresses could be more comfortable and a dishwasher would be amazing but can appreciate sometimes the space needed for one is tricky. Very friendly hosts with great advice on the local area. Hopefully come back again in the future. Darren,Sarah,Emma and Lola the dog.

    "Fantastic stay at Long Barn!"

    Just returned from an amazing week there, and already planning to book again. The place was spotless, owners were lovely and friendly, very well equipped and such comfy beds! The view is incredible with the countryside, St Micheal's Mount and field of cows next to us. The garden is beautiful and it was so peaceful! Our 4 year old daughter loved her bunk room and there was plenty space in the main bedroom for a travel cot for our baby so perfect for families! Cannot wait to return, thank you!

    "Me, my husband and our little girl have just stayed at Long Barn and we have absolutely loved our stay."

    The Barn is very clean and accommodating, the hosts are very friendly and informative. It was like a home from home with everything you needed in one place. The prefect holiday accommodation. We will be back 5 stars from us all. Thank you to Steven and Graham for a fabulous stay with the added extras, very kind, we hope your place does very well as you both deserve it. If you ever visit “up North” do drop us a message. Love Jonny, Gemma, Lucy and Frankie the dog!!

    "Spent a week from 26th April 2025 in this lovely 2 bed cottage which was tastefully decorated."

    We were greeted on arrival by Neil who showed us into the cottage and told us everything we needed to know. Complimentary bottle of wine, milk, tea and coffee available with a lovely vase of fresh flowers . We, including our dog, felt absolutely relaxed from the moment we got there. Very spacious, extremely clean living room overlooking St. Michael’s Mount. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, everything utensil you could wish for. The main bedroom was spacious, bed was comfortable, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space with plenty of hangers which is hard to come by! Second bedroom yet again plenty of wardrobe space with bunk beds. Bathroom was lovely with constant hot water. There was our own outside private patio area to relax and have a nice glass of wine and another garden which is shared next to it. There is also a large field behind the cottage to safely walk your dog You are not far from Penzance and St Ives by car but there is a bus service. All in all we had the best time ever and we will certainly stay again when we next visit Cornwall. Thanks Neil & Steve

    "Our hosts were very friendly and helpful."

    The cottage is stylish and comfortable with lovely views across the countryside to St Michael's Mount. A big plus for us was the large field next to the garden where we could walk our dog morning & evening and meant a nice relaxed beginning and end to our days. The journeys to Penzance and St Ives/ Hayle were quick and easy by car. There was a bus but we weren't sure our dog would get on it. A really lovely two-week Autumn break that we would be keen to repeat.

    Amazing view of the countryside and St Michael’s Mount from the large lounge window and private garden terrace. Perfectly located between St Ives and Penzance, and on a bus route to both. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and have done a great job setting up a perfect holiday home

Park up and be welcomed into a charming open-plan living space with tall ceilings threaded with wooden roof beams, and a light and airy atmosphere.

Here you can discover an amply-fitted kitchen to cater to your culinary needs, as well as a dining space where guests can indulge in a hearty meal.

Long Barn and The Piggery is a charming pairing of stone-built barn conversions settled into the countryside of Castle Gate near Longrock, resting between St Ives and Penzance. The group rests on Green Pig Farm, a family run farm located on the scenic peninsula of West Cornwall. The farm itself boasts views towards St Michael’s Mount and Mounts Bay with distant views towards the Lizard Peninsula and beyond, whilst also creating a wildlife haven with wildflowers and Cornish hedges. In southwest Cornwall, Long Rock is a village situated between Penzance and Marazion, stretching around Mount's Bay. It's name comes from the long rock, usually surrounded by sea beyond the beach of Long Rock. The village offers a shop, post office, and two pubs, as well as a retail park for all the essentials. Long Rock Beach is sandy and favoured by the locals, swimming is safe and it's a popular spot for wind-surfing too. Perfect for bringing your pup to have a run-around, the beach is dog-friendly all year round so you can enjoy it any time of year. Head over to nearby Penzance or Marazion to explore this beautiful coastline further.
