The cottage

Located in the heart of Cornwall, in the historic village of Chacewater, is this wonderfully-presented dwelling, Be Our Guest Cottage, oozing a sense of romanticism.

This fine cottage is perfect for a couple looking to have a romantic getaway to this picturesque part of Cornwall.

Here, you will never have to leave a family member behind, with a superb pet-friendly welcome pack awaiting your arrival.

Your canine companion will be delighted with all of the goodies left, with beds, toys and popcorn for dogs to enjoy.

After soaking up the countryside air, step inside the cottage and be welcomed by a spacious open-plan living room, complete with a well-equipped kitchen and a sitting area, where you can truly relax with the recliner sofas and the woodburner crackling in the background.

The charm of the property continues into the bedroom, where you will find a super-king-size bed waiting for you and also a raised section of the room containing a dreamy traditional free standing bath tub.

If you're not one for baths though, don't worry, adjacent to the bath area you have an en-suite bathroom that holds a double shower and complimentary toiletries for you to use.

If you can pull yourself away from the interior of the cottage, exit the back door and enter into your enclosed garden to find a hot tub and fire pit with countryside views.

A short distance will bring you to the village of Chacewater which is a great mining district and the surrounding landscape contains many reminders of the former industry brought back to life in the BBC’s TV series, Poldark.

If you want to venture out of the village, you have Truro town 5 miles to the west, excellent for shopping opportunities and it has a good selection of pubs, bistros and restaurants or Porthowan is 5 miles to the east, home to sandy beaches and surfing, so be sure to enjoy a sunset meal at the beach-side restaurant as the waves come in.

A really superb location to experience Cornwall exactly how it was intended to be.
