“This property has the most wonderful location for watching the mighty Atlantic waves breaking onto the beach and watching people enjoying the golden sands.”

It is so handy to the town and its shops, pubs and restaurants. The owners have done an excellent job of equipping it with everything you need and all of the highest quality. It felt like home from the moment we walked through the door and we loved every moment of all it had to offer us. I do hope future clients respect all that the owners have done here and take great care to always leave this gem of an apartment in the pristine state they find it. It has been our experience to find all of Sykes accommodations very good, but this the best by far. We will be back here again for sure.

The property

With an ideal situation, nestled on the rugged North Cornwall Coast, literally on the famous 630 mile South West Coastal path, this stunning ground floor apartment is just moments away from superb attractions the area has to offer.

Located in the famous Dunes development arguably one of the best locations in the County.

Perfectly positioned on the beach at Perranporth with its toes right in the water, is Chapel Rock View.

Presented with a high quality finish throughout, this seaside getaway is just the break you need amidst golden sands and clear waters in the town where Poldark was conceived.

Perranporth with its unique views is one of the best beaches in Cornwall with its perfect sunsets, inspiring the many romantic works of Rosamunde Pilcher.

Enjoy the contemporary style setup with wooden floors sweeping across the interior.

Cosy together in the lounge on plush settees and watch the winter Atlantic rollers crash in, throw open the patio doors to reveal the pure bliss outside with a large patio with shared access from both sea front bedrooms.

Wake up to the sound of the waves and the stunning view of Chapel Rock.

The apartment also enjoys the fastest unlimited Fibre Broadband available in the UK for those Winter weather nights.

The kitchen is very well-equipped, with a small breakfast bar, as is the contemporary bathroom and ensuite shower room sporting a crisp neutral finish.

Although their is a six seat dining table you may want to enjoy Alcatraz the Cocktail & Coffee shop and The Summerhouse restaurant both are on site.

Stroll up to The Watering Hole, a bar on the beach, where you can listen to live music, enjoy a burger, breakfast bap or fish and chips, and watch the orange sun sink below the horizon.

Chapel Rock Pool is a rare recognisable feature not to be missed.

Located on the 3 mile long stretch of golden sand, this natural open air pool is filled with sea water at high tide and warmed by the sun during the day - a honey pot for families!

Perranporth offers many pubs, restaurants and shops with fun for all the family.

For those wanting to know more about the fascinating history to the area, The local Blue Hills Museum and Perranzabuloe Folk Museum are both well worth a visit.

This property is stunning whatever the time of year to use as a base in Cornwall with many activities and attractions on offer all year round.

About the location

PERRANPORTH

Newquay 9 miles; Truro 9.5 miles.

Perranporth, a beautiful Cornish coastal town, lies in the heart of Poldark Country, the setting for the novels of Winston Graham who lived in Perranporth in the 1930s. Perranporth offers plenty of traditional pubs and shops, plus a classic bucket-and-spade beach that is lifeguarded in summer, overlooked by craggy rocks and a wonderful coastal path. Once known as the source of the finest tin, the community still retains reminders of the rich heritage with abandoned pump houses, mine shafts and workers’ cottages. The local Blue Hills Museum and Perranzabuloe Folk Museum are both well worth a visit to understand the fascinating history of this coastal area. Further afield are the miles of sandy beaches at Crantock and Holywell Bay, and the breathtaking coastal walks around St Agnes, much of it owned by the National Trust. A perfect holiday base in Cornwall, with an abundance of activities to suit everyone.
