  • "Had a lovely two weeks in Perranporth, the apartment was very comfortable with an amazing welcome pack, thank you."

The only thing that let it down was the very poor to none Wi-Fi, very frustrating. Walked loads from there, the bus service sadly limited our adventures as it took so long to wait for buses that didn't turn up. All in all a comfortable stay, amazingly comfortable bed thank you.

Hi Penny, thank you for your useful feedback. I do apologise that you did not get a good signal with Wi-Fi, we have now changed the system and have a completely new provider and I have been told that the Wi-Fi is very good now. Property Owner

The bed was great, same mattress we have at home. Could possibly do with another mirror in the lounge but overall we will probably use it again if we visit the area again.

  • "Few minor suggestions - bathroom , need a bathmat and toilet brush ."

. I’d have appreciated a gate to stop anyone coming onto our patio area. Kitchen area - could do with something to put hot things onto when from the oven as I was concerned about damaging the work surface ., also hooks for keys / tea towels / oven gloves instead of oven to hang on My main issue was that I’d have loved a bigger or L shaped sofa so we could lie down or put feet up as sofa not massively comfortable for long periods Beautiful Place , decorated very nicely lovely big bathroom , apartment was big enough for 2 of us , had everything we needed . Did nt use the heating as very warm . Our neighbours below us said they could not hear us and we could nt hear them so it must be well insulated/ sound proofed. Bed was fabulous as was the bedding , that’s a must for us

Hi Susan, thank you for taking the time to give feedback, I really appreciate it and I will consider the comments that you have made. With regard to a bathroom mat that is provided, it is the white thick towel that was left on the bathroom radiator. we provide a wooden board that can be used for hot pans and also the basket for keys etc. The sofa was carefully chosen and purposely made for the apartment and is of a good quality, but I do understand that sometimes people like to lie down on the furniture and I put a second television in the bedroom. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay and I hope that we see you soon. Property Owner

  • "Overall clean s o k but behind the bed head it left a lot to be desired because there are so many cobwebs it hasn’t been cleaned for ages."

One thing missing was a toilet brush. Could do with another settee so one could relax more. However the food pack that was left was much appreciated

Hi Gary, thank you for your feedback and I appreciate the time you took to review the apartment. I am sorry that you found cobwebs behind the bed, that bed is fixed to the wall and it is my maintenance man that detaches it for cleaning and maintenance purposes. We try very hard to make every visit special for each guest and I’m sorry that we did not achieve that for you. All the best. Property Owner

  • "A very pleasant stay at Perran Pearl."

A great location with excellent views of the coast and surrounding area. The town centre is only a short walk away, albeit up and down a steep hill- A very pleasant walk though. A beautifully managed property, well fitted out with modern fittings and furnishings. Wi-Fi is a little intermittent. A lovely hamper greets you when you enter the property. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • "A comfortable compact apartment which is perfect for two people who wish to explore Perranporth and the surrounding area."

It has everything you need and the hosts are very attentive and available should you need any additional support. It is in a good location close to the beach and facilities, however if you wish to walk, there are hills that need to be climbed, this is quite challenging if you have mobility issues. The welcome hamper was really lovely and a nice extra touch. The balcony is lovely but lacks privacy from the apartment below and the adjoining bungalow, it is also quite narrow, which is a little challenging for larger people. Overall a really lovely stay away from the hustle and bustle of the town.

Hi Claire thank you so much for your feedback and also for the lovely chocolates that you left for us. Property Owner

  • "Absolutely splendid and we would recommend Perran Pearl A to everyone!"

From the booking, communication, welcome on arrival, cleanliness, facilities, parking, comfort .... everything was first class. The apartment is very new and modern - has everything you need (and not full of ornaments, vases, trinkets .... that you don't need). Very clever use of space with plenty of room to store your clothes, luggage etc. It is like a tardis and there is even a fabulous shower and a seperate full length bath. Both the sitting area and bedroom (with the most comfortable bed) had large wall mounted TVs. The kitchen is well equipped and nothing you need to bring along with you. Accessed via the bedroom is a balcony with chairs and a table and a view over the lovely countryside. By walking a few steps down the drive you then have the most glorious view of the bay. The apartment is situated on quite a steep hill - it takes approx 10 mins to reach the town. Took longer going back up the hill (depends how fit you are - we are not!). The large welcome hamper was amazing - such a nice touch & so appreciated. We devoured the cream tea on the balcony watching the sun set. We have been going to Perranporth for a number of years and this has to be the best accommodation we have ever stayed in - and we will certainly be back.

Sally thank you so much for your really lovely feedback and I’m glad you had a lovely stay during the extreme heat wave that we had. Property Owner

  • "My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Perran Pearl A."

The property is in excellent condition, very clean, decorated and finished to a very high standard and has clearly been thought out well. The facilities/appliances there are brand new and it was a pleasure to stay there. The bathroom (shower cubicle and bath) is a great size and the kitchen is well stocked with good quality appliances/cutlery/crockery/iron. The location is excellent; 12-15 minute walk to the town/beach yet providing peace and quiet at the property with lovely views over the fields and hills. The west facing terrace is ideal to sit outside and wind down after a day out, soaking up the last of the sun. The welcome pack was amazing and the instructions from the owner were detailed and included absolutely everything we needed. Parking is right outside in front of the property on the drive. A pleasure to be there and would highly recommend.

  • "Nice apartment, good location, poor parking."

Thank you for your kind feedback. I am sorry that you found the parking poor, I view parking as important and make it clear in every welcome letter that guests can park either on the driveway immediately outside the apartments or on the large front driveway which is about 40 foot away from the apartments. We have been able to accommodate a guest with a large truck who chose to park on the front driveway because it is bigger. I hope that we see you again soon and thank you again for taking the time to give feedback. Property Owner

  • "I enjoyed the fact that Perran Pearl A is located in a very quiet and scenic place."

It's either a new build or newly renovated to a very high standard. The bed is extremely comfortable, the best I have slept in years ( would like to know the make) There is plenty of wardrobe and storage space too. The welcome gift that awaits your arrival is awesome! There is also the bonus of a small but adequate outdoor space, especially if you like your breakfast or evening meal alfresco, you have everything at your disposal to make that happen! The walk into Perranporth itself is less than 10 minutes away... there's lots of activity to keep you occupied.

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback and I am glad you liked the bed. It is a Lorenza bed with a panda topper. I hope you visit again. Property Owner

About the location

PERRANPORTH

Newquay 9 miles; Truro 9.5 miles.

Perranporth, a beautiful Cornish coastal town, lies in the heart of Poldark Country, the setting for the novels of Winston Graham who lived in Perranporth in the 1930s. Perranporth offers plenty of traditional pubs and shops, plus a classic bucket-and-spade beach that is lifeguarded in summer, overlooked by craggy rocks and a wonderful coastal path. Once known as the source of the finest tin, the community still retains reminders of the rich heritage with abandoned pump houses, mine shafts and workers’ cottages. The local Blue Hills Museum and Perranzabuloe Folk Museum are both well worth a visit to understand the fascinating history of this coastal area. Further afield are the miles of sandy beaches at Crantock and Holywell Bay, and the breathtaking coastal walks around St Agnes, much of it owned by the National Trust. A perfect holiday base in Cornwall, with an abundance of activities to suit everyone.
