  • "The Lodge is in a quiet sheltered location."

A very modern set up with all facilities. However we experienced a major water leak from our en-suite shower which came through the downstairs lighting. There also appeared a separate stain on the downstairs ceiling from the other upstairs shower. There was an infestation of flys in the property. But we had a lovely stay and enjoyed the surrounding amenities.

  • "Absolutely beautiful accommodation and location."

The Brambles was immaculately clean and tidy. It is well equipped with high quality furnishings. Very comfortable beds/bedding. The only slight criticism is the key safe was very difficult to open. I would highly recommend a visit!!!

  • "From the moment we arrived we felt so relaxed and at peace."

The property was clean and welcoming and has all the facilities we needed. It's only a short drive from many of the tourist areas but you feel a million miles away. Extremely quiet and peaceful. The EV charger was an added bonus for us.Will definitely return. Only criticism was that there are no blinds in the kitchen so the sun beams in overly warming the house.

  • "I was luckily enough to book Brambles as the 2nd holiday house on Riverside for an extended family trip of 9 adults & 3 dogs (in total) for a one week stay."

I think there are 7 houses on the Riverside development which is tucked away in a tiny hamlet with the river across the green & camel trail behind. It’s very quiet & accessed via a secure gate. There are permanent residence as well as holiday lets. Which in my opinion keeps the place not only looking nice but it also felt very safe. Brambles is finished to an extremely high standard providing an unexpected luxury feeling. My elderly Dad stayed here in the downstairs bedroom with his little dog. My daughter & her partner had the master bedroom suite with the most amazing windows & balcony & my brother & his wife had the 2nd guest suite as they only stayed a couple of nights. Everyone had their own space & bathroom. It worked extremely well. After we wore Dad out he could use the ‘front door’ accessed by a gentle slop rather than the steps to the deck area. There is a car port & space for a second car at each house. There is plenty of space & we would all gather here for breakfast it didn’t feel over crowded & there are plenty of glasses crockery & cutlery. Not like some places that sleep 4 so provide 4 of everything! The fridge dishwasher & washing machine were all well used. Not so much the freezer but it’s there if needed. There were even bowls & toys for our doggie. We didn’t get to uncover the outside table due to the weather (& because we had the other house as well) but there is a lovely spacious deck which is partially covered with a couple of chairs & a hanging egg chair which Dad loved. The owner was available by text message when I had a silly question to ask & always responded quickly. I thoroughly recommend this holiday home

  • "It's difficult to recommend a place too much because it can back-fire so everyone books it and I can't then book to stay but Brambles was just perfect."

Set in a secluded valley in secure grounds and surrounded by trees it was beautiful. The small problem we had was quickly sorted by host and neighbours. I hope to be able to visit again with my family.

  • "Very pleased with property, location was very beautiful, very clean smells nice, amenities were great, coming from city this was a proper place to relax u don't have to do anything else just enjoy the views."

Only small note that the single bed were smaller then single it felt, we were 6 people 6th bed was not prepared so that's the only thing we noticed as kids were not able to sleep on very tiny beds but the rest was excellent family was not willing to leave. Next time we will plan a longer holiday at this place.
