  • "Site map would have useful to find the property."

No hot water in basin in bathroom sink. Booking in time was wrong by an hour later. Only bath towels provided so no hand towels.

Hello Avril Thank you for you kind words and ratings for your stay at SaltWater last week I am so sorry that you were unable to enjoy your stay. The weather was to die for, and in such a fantastic part of the world, I’m sure you will agree There is a site map in the information folder on the dining room table. Along with all of the other information about Kenegie and Saltwater. Plus information about the surrounding area. Things to do and see. All left for you to read at your leisure The switch for the hot water at the bathroom basin is marked “hot water”. It does need to be switched on to enable hot water (you found the switch for the shower right next to it!) Not too sure what you mean by “ booking in time wrong by one hour”. The property was ready for your arrival by 1pm. I usually contact when preparations are complete to help with an early arrival if required by the guest. I did reach out the day before your arrival to you, but… I do provide you with towels as asked for by Sykes. You required more On a positive note you do seem to have appreciated the hard work and effort I put into preparing SaltWater, and the cleanliness that I provided for your safe stay. It’s not easy dotting all the I’s and crossing the T’s as you can imagine and for what! Thankfully the cost of your weeks stay did not break the bank for you Not to worry I hope you enjoy your next holiday a little more. Kind regards Property Owner

PENZANCE

St Ives 8 miles. Helicopter to Isles of Scilly - 30 minutes

Penzance hosts Golowan, the Midsummer Carnival, and The Literary Festival. There are also The Exchange, Newlyn and Penlee Art Galleries. One of Cornwall’s most popular holiday areas is the spectacular sweep of Mount’s Bay, from the cliffside fishing village of Mousehole through Penzance and around to beautiful Marazion, the coastline hides a wealth of sandy beaches, rocky coves as well as winding village streets and other places to visit and explore. Connected by a causeway to the shore at Marazion is the National Trust’s stunningly beautiful St Michael’s Mount with its hilltop castle and Mediterranean gardens. Walk across at low water and take one of the ferry boats back when the tide is up. Penzance with its winding streets, shops, clubs, restaurants and harbour is a must as it is the jumping-off point for day trips to the Isles of Scilly as well as being the harbour. The South West Coast Path passing through Penzance winds its way along the clifftops towards Land’s End. On the way, stop off for a coffee and a rest at beautiful Lamorna Cove, explore the open air Minack Theatre and marvel at the cliffs as you approach Gwennap Head. A stunning walk for those seeking solitude, exercise and some of the UK’s best coastal scenery. Penzance is the perfect holiday base. Ideally placed for exploring this land of Celtic myth and legend and with enough to do and see in the immediate area to keep all the family occupied.
