The property

Meadow View is a welcoming cottage resting near Widemouth Bay, Cornwall, providing an intimate retreat for two with a King-size bedroom and off‑road parking.

Designed with couples or solo travellers in mind, it pairs a well‑presented kitchen/diner with a mezzanine sitting room and the bonus of access to the owner’s eight acres of grounds.

Step inside to find the kitchen/diner, where you can unpack local produce, prepare simple suppers on the oven and hob, and linger over leisurely breakfasts at the table as you plan the day.

Stairs lead up to the first‑floor mezzanine sitting room, a characterful space tucked beneath the roof-line, where you can stretch out on the sofa, choose a favourite programme on the TV or simply watch the flames in the wood-burning stove on cooler evenings.

When night falls, the King-size bedroom awaits, complete with its own TV and an en‑suite shower room with a walk‑in shower, basin and WC, so everything you need is close at hand.

Outside, the surrounding land is shared with the friendly owners, giving you the chance to wander through eight acres of their grounds and appreciate the peace of this Cornish setting.

From Meadow View, the nearby village of Marhamchurch offers a handy shop around a mile away and a traditional pub for relaxed meals after a day exploring.

Well placed for discovering more of Cornwall, you can strike out in different directions each day, perhaps following quiet lanes to uncover coastal villages, long stretches of sand and scenic walking routes, or heading further afield to visit historic towns with independent shops, galleries and welcoming cafés.

Gentle countryside drives, time spent outdoors and evenings rounding things off with a meal in a local inn all combine to create an easy‑going break in this much‑loved corner of the South West.

Whatever your plans, Meadow View offers a pleasant base for enjoying time away together in Cornwall.
