  • "Beautiful cottage with everything provided you could possibly want for a Holliday."

The cottage was so clean and immaculate. Appreciated the prosecco and scones with cream on arrival. Four legged guest accompanying us loved the biscuits as well. Beds so soft and comfortable. Crown pub next door did lovely meals. You need to book as we could not get in one night so ordered take away from provided menus in cottage. Alison and James, hosts were brilliant, friendly but not intrusive Would definitely book again

  • "Camellia cottage was a little gem!"

The cottage was immaculate and furnished beautifully. The Prosecco and cream tea was a lovely welcome and we felt very at home throughout our stay. It was a very handy spot and we made the most of our trip by visiting as many places as we could including the Eden project, Fowey and the football golf course which our son loved (even on a very rainy day). We hope to return in the summer!

  • "The cottage was perfectly located for visiting family and it was very clean, tidy and well looked after when we arrived."

I had been prepared to do a little cleaning to be COVID safe but didn’t need to do any as it was that well done. Alison and James even looked after our hound for an hour so we could unpack the car with minimal unhelpful doggy assistance. She loved playing with their dog and when my husband went to collect her he was invited to have a beer in the garden. They had put a cream tea and Prosecco in the cottage which was a lovely touch and my husband demolished the cream without a second thought. This cottage is probably the best we have stayed in and have been recommending it to anyone that will listen.

Camellia cottage was excellent with James and family available to provide plenty of tips (even drawing maps) of where would be good for us to visit in the local area. We were impressed with the quality and space of the cottage and really handy to have a friendly pub with serving good food next door. We’ll definitely be planning another visit to Camellia cottage

There was also a very nice touch of a cream tea and a bottle of Prosecco to welcome us to the cottage too! The cottage was very comfortable and a short walk to a nice pub. We took our dog Hugo for a weeks break which was very enjoyable. We used the cottage as a base to explore the local and not so local places, but in saying that everything was within striking distance even Lands End. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back. • "August this year I stayed in Camellia Cottage, Lanlivery, Cornwall."

It is ideally located for both family and a more personal retreat. The cottage is extremely well appointed and the owners I feel have gone to extra lengths to ensure a stress free stay. Even the furry family members have been well catered for, bed and biscuits for the dog on arrival. The owners even though next door are not at all intrusive, and are very helpful and make you feel a temporary part of the community. The local pub next door is a characterful premise both in build and inhabitants! Worth a visit. The pop up farm shop and honesty shop have your everyday essentials and Cornish treats. I hope to visit again.
