  • "This was my second holiday staying at Ty Bryn: I have had an extremely happy and peaceful time again in this lovely, lovely property."

After a morning meandering around Marazion and walking along the beautiful coastline it was a real joy to come back to the house and light the wood burner and settle in to a cosy night with everything you need for a brilliant self-catering holiday. This was only my second holiday in Cornwall but I’m very quickly building up lovely memories thanks to this special house. Incidentally Marazion is a brilliant little town and the two compliment each other. It goes without saying that I will stay again at Ty Bryn only next time it’s got to be for two weeks.

So pleased you enjoyed your return visit to Ty Bryn and we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Property Owner

  • "Our second time staying at Ty Bryn in 2023."

The first was a week in June and we’ve just got back from celebrating Christmas here as a family for the week. A stunningly beautiful, well maintained house with high quality decor and breathtaking views of the Cornish coast and St Michael’s Mount. The owners have gone above and beyond to ensure those staying have a wonderful time - from a jam packed welcome hamper to luxury bedding and gorgeous framed pictures throughout. There’s nothing we would change! It’s a perfect retreat and we feel so lucky to have found it. Will definitely be back again!!

We’re delighted that you enjoyed your second stay at Ty Bryn as much as you first and hope to welcome you again in 2024. Property Owner

  • "Absolutely Beautiful cottage and place to stay; A lovely, lovely week and dream of a holiday."

I felt that Ty Bryn was everything and more that I could have imagined and hoped for, so clean and equipped and maintained to a very high standard of living and quality of interiors. After a day of great peace and tranquility walking along the coastline to return to Ty Bryn was brilliant with its cosy atmosphere and of course the wood burner which was the icing on the cake for me. By the time Tuesday came I had already booked another week for late February. Really, really peaceful and lovely and everything I had hoped to find. It was clear from the moment I opened the door that Ty Bryn is a special place to stay.

We’re delighted that you found Ty Bryn such a relaxing place to stay and look forward to welcoming you back in February. Julie and Tim Property Owner

  • "Perfect cottage, couldn’t fault a thing."

The view from the back of the property is absolutely stunning! As previously mentioned, parking a large car in the garage may be difficult. As we went with 2 cars, we paid the fire engine pub to park one car. Would definitely return.

Many thanks for your feedback. We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you again. Property Owner

  • "First of all Ty Bryn is just like the pictures on the website it a beautiful property and decorated to a high standard."

We loved the wood fire the kitchen has everything we needed, we couldn't of asked for better. The views from the back garden were fantastic looking out onto St Michaels Mount which is worth a visit but would recommend taking a picnic. We had a great week and got lucky with the weather, I would recommend Ty Bryn. I'd just like to point out a couple of things; The Directions say when you come from Turnpike road onto Higher Fore St Ty Bryn is before the pub on the right, but coming from that direction it is after the pub on the left. and there could do with numbers on the garage as we were a bit confused which was ours, and some details about the garage door keys would be useful, although we managed to park an estate car in there it was a but of squeeze getting out of the car but did close the garage door, it was good having the garage measurement before we went that helped a lot but some details about the keys for the garage would be useful. We don't think the tumble dryer is working, the downstairs toilet seat was broken. I would like to recommend a shelf to put in the downstairs shower, maybe I'm just fussy! but this really is a lovely place to stay and would book again. Thank you

We're pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Ty Bryn. Many thanks for your helpful feedback. The toilet seat has been replaced and the tumble dryer repaired for this week's guests. You are also correct about the error in the directions which will be amended. Look forward to welcoming you again. Property Owner

  • "A lovely little cottage with superb views of St Michael's Mount."

The cottage had excellent facilities and the bedrooms were comfortable. The off road parking in the garage is only for small cars do not attempt with the large SUV.

  • "Fantastic cottage with marvellous views across the bay."

However when booked in March it was stated that parking was a small garage with off road parking for one car. This was not the case. I was only able to park half in the garage and I only have an ecosport. Anything larger and you have a real problem. Also the balcony and terrace would benefit from some shade.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed the cottage. We have added a parasol to the roof terrace for shade. Property Owner

  • "It is hard to find the property online, as the exterior was not shown in the advertisement."

This might be due to the fact that it is less attractive than the interior. The sea view from inside the cottage is amazing. Everything is well prepared, with biscuits, coffee, tea and milk. We are very happy with our stay. However, we have two concerns to point out for the others. First, the car park is a small garage, not suit for a family SUV. We actually have to pay the nearby pub for parking there. Secondly, the sound proofing is poor. At the, the toilet light switches and flushes can wake you up from time to time.

Thank you for taking the time to complete your feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. We did advise on the website that the garage was short and narrow, so will only accommodate a small car. We would advise that if you had any concerns over parking for your car, to check this out at the time of booking. We have since amended this so that the dimensions of the garage have now been added as well. Property Owner
