  • "Lovely property - very clean & brilliant position for train station to get to St Ives or St Erth."

    Great outdoor space with plenty of room. Property well equipped for holiday & extremely comfortable bed. Welcome pack was a lovely surprise. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the property description of frosted glass in the bedroom window that looks onto owners garden. This was clear glass which did not give as much privacy. However, we enjoyed our stay immensely & have already booked to return.

  • "Lovely property, very comfortable & clean."

    Close to shops & the train station, which we used often. The bag with treats in was a lovely touch & milk in the fridge was a big plus too. After a long day travelling, was able to get a very welcome drink. Placed in such a nice area too.

  • "Fantastic holiday apartment as described."

    Great base for exploring around Cornwall Short walk to train station and 3 minutes ride into St Ives saves all the trouble in parking. Would highly recommend Sea Holly for a holiday and our looking to go again ourselves. Extremely pleasant family who own the property who can’t do enough to help if required.

The property

Sea Holly is an inviting, single-storey annexe that is conveniently located in the seaside community of Carbis Bay, Cornwall.

With an enclosed private garden, an open-concept living area, and an allocated parking place, Sea Holly is a fantastic base for a romantic getaway for two or as a base to hit the coastline to catch some waves down at Hawkes Point or Porthmeor to name two popular surf spots; it is also located near a hub of amenities, activities, and the shoreline, making it an ideal abode for touring the region.

Park up in the designated parking space, before reaching the front garden, which provides the ideal location to unwind and take in your Cornish surroundings.

Venture inside to enter the living area, which has a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area for two, a plush sofa, and a Smart TV with Sky Q set on the wall for entertainment; use this space to prepare meals, dine, and spend quality time with your loved one.

If it's a nice day, make sure to set the patio table and start the barbecue to dine alfresco, before finishing your evening routine in the shower room.

Climb into the sumptuous king-size bed, surrounded by plenty of storage and homely furnishings, before waking up to explore Carbis Bay and its attractions.

If you want to explore the county, the local railway station is close by, whilst Carbis Bay Beach and Hayle Beach are right outside your door, where you can easily reach the coastal trail as well.

Before arriving in St. Ives, where you may stroll along Porthgwidden Beach, explore the Tate St. Ives, or learn about Penwith Gallery, stock up on the necessities at a nearby convenience shop or eat along the shore.

Travelling south, make sure to stop at Penzance Harbour, which is a busy place where you can people watch before dining at The Boatshed, featuring wonderful local products.

Newlyn Tolcarne Beach and the nearby Newlyn Art Gallery are well worth a visit.

Reach Godrevy Point or take a stroll through Tehidy Country Park to take in the Cornish countryside before arriving at Basset's Cove's stunning and quiet setting.

St Ives 2 miles ; Hayle 3.5 miles ; Penzance 8.5 miles

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching. Carbis Bay is truly a wonderful holiday location for those wanting to experience Cornwall's breathtaking coastline.

Sea Holly -
The annex is adjoining a full time residential property and linked to the main house by a locked internal door which is located in the annex hall way near the bathroom and main bedroom. This door is locked by a key and an additional lock on the guest side of the door for security and peace of mind.

Access
Sea Holly offers guests private access from the allocated parking space at the front of the main house. Through a gate leaving to the private garden, patio space and around to property front door.

Shed
Please note that the shed seen in the garden is kept locked and not for the use of guests.

Heating
Whilst the property offers a separate thermostat for the annex. The boiler for the property is located in the main residence/adjoining house.

Good Housekeeping Bond
The Good Housekeeping Bond for this property is £100.
