  • "This little place has been so well thought out and designed."

We absolutely loved our stay. Everything thing was perfect, comfy clean and well maintained in the apartment. Just 2 little comments....The driveway needed weeding. And it's not totally dog friendly in that you couldn't let your dog out onto the driveway or the little patio area as it was not fenced in at all. It's fine if you've got a perfectly obedient dog who wouldn't dream of roaming, but ours is a cat chaser and so after 2 incidents of his cat chasing milarkie we had to keep him on his lead which we secured to the back of the car, needless to say he wasn't happy. But apart from that there are so many places to walk a dog in the area so if it's all about getting out and about with your dog then this would be a terrific base to go from.

Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate some folks prefer totally weed free and we do pull up any spiny weeds, but we like to leave places for a little wildlife - including a few weeds. Re an enclosure for dogs, this is tricky given the space available and the fact that around half our guests don't bring dogs and want their space as open as possible. There are some low fencing panels next to the sauna to make up a low barracade if you have a small / old dog. As you say the lane is a great place for a little exercise and doggy toilet (with clean up after). Property Owner

'Small but perfectly formed' is a good description. Everything that is needed and very well decorated and appointed. A lovely 'Welcome' pack much appreciated. All in all we were very happy with our week away. I would hope to return again and spend more time exploring beautiful Cornwall.

  • "Great for a couple for a long weekend."

Pictures are deceiving in that the patio area is actually where you have to park. The place was dusty... and under/beside furniture was not hoovered just all the easy areas. There’s a huge old suitcase which looks nice but for a tiny place is awkward. Facilities are good and great for a coupe to stay but maybe not for a week as there very little storage both for clothing and cupboards for food. There was also no chopping boards (well a very tiny mouldy one in the back of the cupboard) so I bought some chopping matts and left them for the next people to use to. Some of the utensils have seen better days and also weren’t clean. The location is great for trips to great areas and local scenery!

Thank you for your feedback and I'm sorry you were not happy with aspects of the property. We were very surprised regarding the cleanliness score as since opening the let I have always cleaned Little Breoke myself and in 10 out of our 11 reviews we were given full marks for cleanliness (one was 4/5). Added to this, cleaning under every piece of furniture is part of my routine. However, we take your review very seriously and are very sorry you found some dust. We have done some work on the property over the Covid period so perhaps a dust residue remained despite my best efforts. We are also grateful to have our attention drawn to the chopping board which we will update. As regards parking on the courtyard, we will contact CCH and ask for a couple of photos making the layout more obvious. We hope you enjoyed the little garden seating area beside the sauna. It is a little property and it is true we have packed a lot into a tiny space, but perhaps we need to prepare people better for what they will find. Property Owner

Great, convenient location for everything. In the owners back garden, which was more open than we thought, so that is the only thing to be aware of. But we had a great time and would recommend for anyone looking for a nice little getaway.

  • "The main problem we had was the plague of mini fly's in the place."

Thank you very much for your feedback, we were pleased to hear that you had a good holiday. We were sorry to hear that you experienced some trouble with flies and the owners have asked us to let you know that they were struggling with the food composting bin near Little Breoke. They have since developed a new, far more fly free method to compost their food waste and as a result the little flies have vanished! We hope this helps to reassure and we look forward to seeing you again soon! Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Little Breoke."

The village is really cute and welcoming, the cabin is warm and very confortable. The sauna is obviously a massive plus! We could easily access the region's gems: the villages, ports and amazing landscapes. We stayed with our 2 year old girl and find the space perfect for the three of us. I definitely recommend Little Breoke! Julie
