  • "The cottage was beautiful, extremely well equipped and comfortable."

The bathroom in particular was warm and cosy. Dee and Tommy are very welcoming, friendly and kind hosts. The welcome food hamper was much appreciated, lovely touch was the delicious home made jam. Plenty of equipment for cooking which was great for us as we cook every night. The view of St Michael’s Mount from the kitchen was stunning. The village is a great location for exploring the surrounding area with plenty to see and do. We didn’t want to leave and would love to return to the area and cottage again. Thank you so much Dee and Tommy for being such accommodating, kind and generous hosts.

We had a wonderful welcome hamper from the owner Dee who’s knowledge of the area was very helpful and was one of the friendliest owners we’ve ever met nothing was to much trouble, would recommend this wonderful cottage to everyone !!!! For people visiting, St Michaels Mount, Minack Theatre and Lands End all a must ! Mutton Cove was amazing too seeing the Seals swimming was out of this world. All the above places where so easy to reach from the cottage in fact you can see St Michaels Mount from the kitchen window. We will defiantly be returning and be bringing some dog treats for Biscuit

  • "A few constructive suggestions: a microwave and washing machine would be useful."

The wifi can be a bit hit-and-miss but that’s probably just the area. Otherwise it’s a lovely quirky characterful little place for two people and a dog. And the hosts are wonderfully friendly and helpful and left us a delicious welcome hamper. The cottage location is good. The local pub is fab, so is the church. And there are great walks with an easy one following St Michael’s Pilgrims Way down to Marazion. All in all we had a super stay and would recommend it to anyone, and come back ourselves.

  • "A Bohemian Rhapsody in Cornwall."

As an experienced traveller across the UK I was delighted to stay in this gem of a property. Flat 1 is perfect for a couple or a lone traveller. It has the personality & vibe of the owner all over it – bright, colourful & unique. It is well equipped, everything works [!] & has possibly the most comfy bed I have ever slept in. There’s also a lovely garden, a bench & tables, excellent parking space , a fantastic local pub a short walk away & St. Michaels Mount within view. Also note, no seagulls within ear-shot – which as we know is a pain if you stay by the coastal front! The location is perfect for anyone who wants to explore as it’s in a central point & the 2 minute drive to the A30 gives immediate access to all the best locations. Well done to Dee for creating something unique in a crowded market & thank you for the welcome basket too ! Look forward to revisiting again.
