  • "The property was very clean."

On the down side there were no basic items. Salt and pepper pots where missing. No welcome package was left for guests (milk, bread etc), which is always a nice touch. The shower was slow and the rail was damaged. The blinds where not the best ones to use for bedrooms, roller would be a better option. They where also damaged and had a job opening and closing them. Parking was a big issue too, as roads are very narrow. Overall was a nice stay as property was clean and well kept.

  • "My husband and I recently stayed at Chapel Cottage along with our dog."

It is a lovely, cosy, but spacious place we found it very clean and welcoming. It has a well-laid-out kitchen, through the dining room to the rear of the property, along with a lovely bathroom with a double walk-in shower.  The living room is very cosy with a modern TV and a log burner for the colder months.   Upstairs are three large bedrooms, a double which was very comfortable, a twin, and a children’s room with bunk beds, a lovely touch of bean bags anTV to keep the children entertained.   The cottage is in the heart of Mevagissey, with shops, pubs and restaurants which a lot are very dog friendly and within a minutes' walk.  An the harbour is beautiful.  Although parking isn’t available at the property, it’s possible to pull up in front for loading/unloading a this wasn’t a problem at all.  I can definitely recommend Willows coach and car park, which is within a few minutes walking distance, and was only £40 for a full week. We normally visit the north coast of Cornwall but have to say we loved the cottage and town will definitely be back.
