  • "The premises were very clean, very comfortable and very small."

Small but perfectly formed. Excellent position to explore Cornwall, very close to a nice beach and, for dog owners, very close to an excellent park. Highly recommended.

Location is a brilliant base so near to the local beach and amenities. Precook the local pub as it’s very busy but would recommend. Also recommend the local golf club for food they were very welcoming. All in all brilliant, lovely welcoming hosts and would thoroughly recommend

  • "Wonderful hosts!"

The apartment is nice looking, clean and has everything you need for a staycation! Ideal for a couple and perfect location, only minutes to the local beach and not far to travel to see the rest of the beautiful places in Cornwall.

  • "My son (8) and I stayed for a week at the start of the summer holidays and we had a brilliant time."

The hosts were welcoming and responsive when we needed them, and gave us complete privacy for the rest of the time. The accommodation is in a lovely quiet spot and really central to access south, west and east coast attractions. The nearby beach (portreath) is beautiful and while you will want to drive rather than walk the 1 mile distance because the road has no pavements (& it would be a long slog home) we managed to get free road parking in a hot beachy day by heading down around 9.30am. Other days we popped down for lunch and the beach front parking was reasonably priced and had plenty of spots (though that was on an overcast day....) We both absolutely recommend booking a stay here. Even after our long drive home we are refreshed and happy.

  • "Not obvious that the property was close to the owner’s house who were very pleasant and helpful, but we had no separate or private garden."

Thank you for your comments, we hope that you enjoyed your stay. This property is an annexe in the grounds of the owners home. It has a section of garden solely for your use, which is adjacent to the owner's part of the garden. We're grateful for your feedback and have amended our description to make this clearer. We hope we'll see you again soon! Property Owner

  • "The really only comment was lack of privacy although we realise this is difficult as you share the owners property otherwise there were no issues!"

Located in a quiet area of Cornwall's countryside, just a short distance from the golden sandy beaches of West Cornwall, the property is ideal for couples looking to escape to this popular location with a homely base to return to each evening.

A bright and airy open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining and sitting area, make this property the perfect setting to unwind with your loved one.

Rustle up a delicious dinner in the kitchen to be enjoyed at the dining table as you plan the next day's adventures.

From here, relax and unwind with a good book or in front of the TV on the reclining chairs before heading to bed for some well-earned rest.
