  • "What a lovely little house, clean and fresh."

Beautifully decorated and probably one of the best equipped houses we have ever stayed in, and we were welcomed with a delicious Cornish cream tea and some other little treats left for us by the owner. The house itself is perfectly situated just 10 minute walk into Padstow town centre and a small Tesco literally two minute walk away. There is parking directly outside at the front which we used all week but that is on a first come first served basis, there is an actual designated car parking space at the rear of the property. Overall this was a great place to stay and we would happily return and definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Thank you for such lovely feedback and compliments on Seahorses! I am so glad you had such a lovely time. You were perfect guests and you are welcome back anytime! All the best. Property Owner

The house was spotless and had everything you could need for your stay. There is a tesco store within walking distance and a parking space which is very useful. Would highly recommend this property .

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review both here and in our guestbook. We are so glad you had a wonderful time and thank you for being the perfect guests! • "Property was great, perfect location for Padstow town."

Parking to rear of property was a little awkward as car hadn’t left much room but that’s not the property owners fault. The only thing I would advise is the bed on the left in the front bedrooms mattress needs replacing as you can feel the springs so not very comfortable. Don’t want this to been seen as a complaint as we had a lovely time and would definitely stay again (just advice as if you’re not told you don’t know).

Thank you for your positive feedback and I hope that we do get to welcome you again to Seahorses! Sorry the weather you had during your stay was bad, but unfortunately that was out of my control! Thank you for your comments regarding one of the mattresses which hasn't been raised before (we always welcome constructive/useful feedback) which we will certainly look into at the next changeover! All the best and hope to see you again. Property Owner

  • "Seahorses is a lovely little house that is generally very well maintained and comfortable for a couple of small family."

On arrival you are greeted by a cream tea and fresh milk in the fridge which is a really nice touch. Location is perfect with only a 10 minute (max) stroll down the hill into Padstow town, it is nearly opposite the local Tesco store, in a relatively quiet cul-de-sac and we managed to park right outside the house every day we were there (also a reserved space around back if necessary). We have stayed at Seahorses twice now and would happily recommend to couples or a small family like ours. Two very small gripes, it would be nice to have a ‘smart tv’ for the kids and the bed in the main bedroom is very squeaky which meant we were woken every time one of us moved in the night.

Thank you so much for your positive feedback and we are glad that you returned again this year to stay at Seahorses and had such an enjoyable time. Points raised are noted, the T.V. as well as the usual channels can receive Amazon Prime and Netflix. However you will be pleased to know we will be putting in a Smart T.V. in the near future. Sorry to hear of the issue with the bed which no one else has commented on previously, indeed when we stayed ourselves a few weeks ago we had no such issue. We did however discover a broken slat under the bed when we carried out this changeover and the issue has been resolved. Hopefully look forward to welcoming you back to Seahorses again in the future. • "We had a lovely stay in a lovely house in a nice quiet area."

Thank you Julia for the delicious scones and cream. Parking spot at the back was good but gentleman on the first house into the parking site, parked a huge white van outside his house and made it very difficult for us the get on and off the site. Would recommend this property and would stay here again, thanks.

Thank you for your feedback and I'm so glad that you enjoyed Seahorses and your holiday. Sorry to hear about the white van, I think unfortunately it must have been a one off as we haven't had any comments about this before. We think it would have only been temporary as a number of residential properties share the access to the allocated parking and wouldn't think he would have been able to park there for long! I'm so pleased that you would recommend our property and would stay again and I look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Property Owner

The availability of parking right outside the property was a real bonus. The property itself more than met our needs as there were just 2 of us and it was clean and well looked after throughout. There was everything available within the house and we felt very much at home there. We would certainly book Seahorses again if we return to the area for another holiday.

Tesco 2mins away. The house was spotlessly clean and the kitchen provided everything you could possibly need. It included a coffee machine with coffee pods and decent size mugs! Tea, coffee, biscuits, milk, prosecco and cream teas also provided. BBQ also available to use. Lovely big fluffy towels and hand made soap included. Padstow is a wonderful place but gets very busy. Advise booking restaurants very well in advance at the moment - more than 6 months in advance if you want to eat at Rick Steins! I can highly recommend Seahorses and will definitely be back.
