  • "We have enjoyed a stay here at least 4 times since 2012 and at many other slipway properties over the years."

    It is now looking a bit tired and could do with a freshen up - some mould on ceilings, general decoration, kitchen equipment (wine glasses, oven trays…). We had no hot water - but ok with electric shower and dishwasher - and heating stopped working mid week. The shower plug hole needs cleaning out as the tray almost overflowed each time. Very little house info (nothing re bin collection)which is old CRW and needs updating as John Bray/Sykes. It would have been nice to be informed in advance that there was building work (roofing) going on next door as it was quite noisy although the builder was trying to be considerate. However, Rock was lovely as usual and proximity to the sea and The Mariners is always a plus!

  • "An outstanding property with spectacular views across the bay."

    The house was clean and tidy. Only slight negative was it’s directly behind the Mariners bar and restaurant, which is why you get the great views and easy access to the facility…. It’s just the cooking smell… Overall, I’d go again….
