  • "Whilst the house and it general presentation was acceptable, when we arrived after an 8 hour journey, we were very surprised and disappointed to find there were no welcome items, no milk, tea or coffee, while I realise this is complimentary, most rentals due provide some sort of welcome pack, we then discovered that we had only 2 tea towel which was brown and singed, there was only approx."

One third of a bottle of washing up liquid, three quarters of a toilet roll, no dishcloth, a third of a bottle of hand-wash soap. There was no back up stock available and when I managed to get a message through to the housekeeper it was almost the end of our stay and I had bought items that we needed. I do think this was either mean of the owner or remiss of the housekeeper as in all the rentals we have had, this is the first one to have this issue, and it did tarnish our stay. We have stayed at a house 1 minutes walk away 3 times previously and had no such issues, this rental is falling short of the standards renters have come to expect.

  • "Location was beautiful."

Only the bed linen could have been better so it didn’t constantly fall off. The floors were really dangerous as they were so slippy! I almost hit my head on the bathroom sink when stepping into the bathroom. I tried to contact Kay, to see if there was anything we could put on the floors to reduce how slippery it was, but she never answered the phone. My son had a few falls too, whether we went bare foot or with grip socks! Also sadly the TV was so small and it would have been nice to have information about the site. As in opening times of the clubhouse facilities and access to the beaches or local attractions. My family also stayed at Pendra Loweth and got complimentary biscuits, with enough cleaning materials for the week - just a thought. Otherwise it was lovely. Really comfy bed

  • "The property is excellent overall."

My comments next are tiny ways it could be improved. The sofas are not the most comfortable I have ever sat on, there is no washing machine but there is a dishwasher. The heater in the main living space is constantly on and we never worked how to turn it off. The bedrooms are well equipped and comfortable. The lock on the bathroom door needs fixing. Overall a quality property I would recommend.

  • "Cottage was clean and tidy, bedding and towels provided were hotel quality."

Wasnt cold there, plenty of hot water and wall heaters if needed. Decor and furnishings were dated, the cottage could do with a makeover. TV was very small and hard to see when sat on settee. The actual site is beautiful, plenty of grassy areas, trees, flowers, a stream. Also facilities were excellent, pool, gym, and bar/ restaurant too. Overall, good value for money we paid.
