however, Meadowside was the most comfortable, peaceful, friendly place, watching the farm come to life, seeing the animals, feeing the lambs and of course Coco & Harvey...Would highly recommend this cottage and sykes cottages. Thanks Sue

A fantastic quite place to stay, the owners were lovely and friendly, my only gripe is the sofas are to low down for me, apart from that I would highly recommend

Beautiful garden and views. Owners were helpful and friendly. Easy access to great walks and beaches - you will need a car though.

  • "We have had the most relaxing break."

Fabulous accommodation which is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Margaret and her family are always around to help with any questions but also keep their distance enough to make your holiday private. The perfect balance. Very dog friendly with plenty of open space to walk without having to get in the car. Highly recommend this property.

  • "Meadowside, beautiful Meadowside, well, what a well equipped beautiful 'home from home'."

It had absolutely everything that was required, in excellent quality, and thoughtfulness. Additionally the decor was beautiful, particularly to my taste. Many colours and designs similar to my own, made a special difference! Additional special, a super welcome cream tea, how lovely! We were also greeted by the lovely good mannered dogs, who greeted our own dog with lots of friendly wags! Meadowside has the ability to be completely enclosed with its own driveway and gates, for doggy safety, fabulous! Meadowside has its own abundance of private garden and lawns, for those with children, I imagine a completely safe condition. Beautiful! Just wonderful! A hot tub also, not that we wished to use it, but can I imagine superb for those who like to do. A delightful walk around locally, and even the ability to go down by foot to the lovley Lamorna Cove, but it is steep! We took advantage also of a take away Thai, from a little caravan kitchen, just half a mile down the road, which was superb. All about Meadowside is highest marks, and we recommend it from the bottom of our hearts!

  • "Just spent a week in Meadowside at Borah Farm."

What an amazing week!!! The accommodation exceeded what was expected, very comfortable (especially the bed), homely and had every extra you could have wanted. Even a cream team awaited us and a lovely welcome from the owner. It has the most beautiful view from the dining room/sitting room area, and the hot tub is only a few steps away. I really cannot recommend this place enough, it is a little piece of heaven on earth.

When we arrived we were greeted by home made scones with clotted cream and jam. The cottage is well equipped for cooking, there is a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave. WiFi works well - and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Great location for walks and there is a nice pub just 10 minutes walk down the cove. Great place for family holidays.

  • "This was the most relaxing holiday we've had in years, despite the challenging walks!"

The cottage and surrounding area were described and photographed very well so we knew exactly what we were getting. However, the extra touches from the owners - fresh flowers, cream tea and milk, coffee etc were great. The hot tub was not working properly but the engineer was called and the problem fixed within 24hrs with no hassle for us whatsoever.

A very welcoming plate of delicious scones, jam and clotted cream awaited us on arrival. Plus a pint of milk, tea, coffee etc. Great shower. Comfortable beds and seating area. Enjoyed star gazing from the hot tub. Good place to be for driving to good locations.

  • "This property is very good indeed."

The weather was dreadful and if the property had not been this good we would not have felt so cosy with the wood burner, in such wet weather. Unfortunately, the weather stopped us from using the hot tub. The cottage was most comfortable and the master bedroom was excellent. All facilities were within easy reach and with Mousehole just down the road it was the perfect experience. We would use this property again. I did feel that the kitchen units were in need of some updating but it was such a small issue and everything else was provided.
