"Thanks so much for a fantastic holiday."

The property was beautiful - spacious, light and very comfortable. Our two boys loved "our holiday house" and the pristine white fluffy towels are a lovely touch. We'd recommend taking some Nespresso pods for the great machine! The location is spot on for exploring North Cornwall, and overall we were very impressed. Communication from Sykes was great, we had no problems finding the house. The Fourways Inn offered great pub food just a few seconds walk away. We explored areas like Trevone Bay, Padstow (our favourite), Rock and Polzeath to name a few. We were so lucky with the weather but would recommend the Bodmin Steam railway for something to do with little ones if it's a bit wet. We will definitely keep Tor View in mind for when we return! Thank you for a great stay. Just a few points that would have made it even better: - there is a little courtyard-type patio garden which is quite narrow; unfortunately it was so overgrown with weeds that a lot of the path outside the main back door from the main living area was taken up with plants, and all of the pots had very dead plants in them. The maintenance of outside areas doesn't look like it reflects the same care that is clearly taken inside, but in the wetter colder months this may not be as relevant for guests. - a small milk in the fridge or equivalent would have been incredibly welcome after an 8 hour journey (especially with children!) - for a 7 night stay for 6 people it would have been great to have enough dishwasher tablets for the whole stay (a tiny point but does make a bit of difference!) Thanks again. We have made precious memories in your lovely house.

"Lovely property, beautiful view and location, nice and quiet."

The two kingsize rooms are wonderful and the two twins are perfect for children but probably not ideal for adults . water in upstairs bathroom sink took ages to drain, possibly blocked, but still useable and smart bathrooms generally. Blind in yellow twin was stained by insects which you cannot see until you drop the blind. All in all a superb property, only a 10 mins drive To Rock, Daymar or Polzeath and many other beaches, Good value quiet pub just 50 meters away.

Thank you for your kind comments, the couple of issues mentioned will be addressed by our maintenance team. We very much look forward to welcoming you back very soon John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

"We had a wonderful weeks stay at Tor View, the house was lovely and comfortable and very well equipped."

We thought a hosepipe outside would be handy to wash beach things off when returned from the beach. A little welcome pack would also be a nice touch.

"The property was absolutely fantastic, great location to explore around."

Lots of room for two families. Very well equipped with everything that you needed for your stay there. Only negative was it could now do with a full clean after a busy summer, lots of dusty places. This did not stop us having a wonderful visit to Tor View.

hank you so much for your kind words. It's great to hear that you had such a fabulous stay at Tor View and had the perfect base to explore the north Cornish coastline from! I have passed your comments onto the housekeeping team they will be looking into this. John Bray on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

"The property was not as clean as found on our previous stay in 2021; dust on flat services in the living area, cobwebs and 'snail trail' on master bedroom ceiling, front windows needed cleaning, hairs found on floor."

I understand this was down to previous occupants, but the barbecue needed cleaning before use and the dishwasher filter needed emptying. None of the above detracted from our stay, which was most enjoyable, but we hope this feedback is useful.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your stay! We're very sorry that you had to experience these issues during your stay but thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we sorted them for you. Your comments have been passed on to the team at John Bray Cornish Holidays. We hope to welcome you back to north Cornwall in the future! Property Owner
