Millers Loft is nestled in the Cornish countryside between Crowlas and Marazion, just a 20 minute walk to Marazion Beach and with a short drive to St Ives, Hayle and Penzance.

This Grade II listed self contained loft apartment in a converted mill boasts both character and contemporary accommodation for up to five guests: families, friends and couples seeking a rural escape close to the beautiful Cornwall coastline.

Park at the front of the cottage and head up six exterior steps to the entrance, with a hallway for coats and shoes.

The stairs rise to the first floor boasting a sociable open plan concept tucked under original ceiling beams.

Relax on one of the two comfortable sofas after a day by the sea, breakfast and feast at leisure around the dining table set in the middle of the fully equipped kitchen.

The cook of the party has everything they need to rustle up a hearty breakfast or evening meal.

Three bedrooms offer comfort; the master has a super-king-size zip and link bed for flexibility, the second bedroom has a double bed and the third is a little haven with a single bed, all with storage facilities.

Enjoy an invigorating shower in the morning to set you up for the adventure ahead or wash away sandy toes after a dip in the ocean at the end of a fun-filled day. The enclosed and private garden is secure for children, a sunshine spot with garden furniture for alfresco nibbles and tipples, with a barbecue for sundowner drinks and stargazing. Go discover the beautiful beaches, attractions and resorts reached within a 5-10 minute drive. Marazion’s long stretch of sandy beach beckons, within a protected bay perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming.

Head across the cobbled causeway to iconic landmark St Michael’s Mount, the semi-isle with castle atop. If the tide is high, small boats go back and forth, taking passengers to and from the island.

Picnics and rock pooling make for an enjoyable day or eat in the shoreside restaurant at The Godolphin Hotel. Stroll along the Promenade at Penzance, take a dip in the Jubilee Pool with café, or amble further around Mounts Bay to Newlyn with its bustling harbour.

Charismatic Mousehole with a dinky beach and cobbled lanes with galleries and traditional inns is a worthy destination. Much loved St Ives boasts four beaches, with surf schools, an abundance of eateries and Tate St Ives. Board a fishing excursion or leisure boat and watch the seals and dolphins.

From the coast path, the views are truly breathtaking. However you choose to spend your time, Millers Loft is the perfect retreat for your Cornish getaway.

Crowlas is a village in Cornwall. It is located one mile from St Michael’s Mount, a small tidal island home to the 15th century chapel and medieval castles. It can be reached by a causeway or frequent boat rides. Local sights include the Cornwall Coastal Path for walkers and cyclists and The Hoxton Special open for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, as well as Penlee House Gallery & Museum which specalises in the Newlyn School and early St Ives artists. Crowlas is 1 mile east of Ludgvan and 1 mile south of Whitecross.
