  • "Fabulous penthouse apartment with super views over the town and hillside."

    Beautiful lounge, dining, kitchen area, large master bedroom with ensuite, further bedroom and bathroom. Furnished beautifully, lovely decor, private parking. Located in a really nice quiet part of Helston a few minutes walk from the town centre with plenty of places to eat and have a drink or two especially the fantastic Blue Anchor pub. Also mentioned in the Helston Heritage Trail which is worth a stroll as is the local museum just a little walk further along church street. Would highly recommend.

  • "Lovely apartment with awesome views - great layout and plenty of space and useful things in the kitchen (the tiny forks were a win with the kids)."

    .. parking spot on... easy to get about in Helston and to access lovely beaches at Praa and Porthleven... The hoover has issues with the charger cable - doesn't always 'connect' to charge properly so that was a bit of a battle... but it's not a holiday without a bit of a challenge somewhere - but saying that - there's worse things to be battling with :-)

  • "We stayed here as a family of three and had a great time."

    The apartment is beautifully furnished, very spacious, and the main bedroom was super comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped—the new pots and pans were great, though we’d recommend removing the old ones. The welcome treats were a nice touch: we really enjoyed the fresh milk, strawberry jam, and clotted cream, all with plenty of date left on them. The place is great value for the money, the stairs didn’t bother us, and overall we had a lovely stay. We’d happily recommend!

  • "The property is absolutely lovely."

    A huge space with 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was really well equipped with everything you need for a break away. The seagulls are noisy though so bring ear plugs if you aren't used to them. We arrived to a welcoming packet of scones complete with jam and Cornish clotted cream, which was super lovely. I would totally recommend this place for a lovely break away. The town of Helston is quite quiet but it's only a short drive to other areas with lots going on, or you can catch a bus. Porthleven was only 8 mins drive and has lovely bars and eateries. Thank you

  • "The Penthouse was very clean and had very modern and comfortable furnishings."

    Kitchen equipment good too. It is a sizable apartment for 4 people with lovely views over the countryside around Helston. It's also in an excellent location, near Porthleven and Penzance, with St Ives not too far either. Helston is a quaint Georgian town, and the apartment is about 3 minutes walk from the Museum of Cornish Life, which is super interesting for adults and children alike.

  • "Great location and views."

    Quite a lot of stairs to climb if that's a problem to you. Nicely furnished and comfortable. Disappointed by a lack of pans for cooking and by blocked drain on an otherwise superb shower

The Penthouse is a superb first-floor apartment situated in the heart of the market town of Helston, Cornwall.

Beautifully styled with a fusion of contemporary and character style, The Penthouse is a fantastic base for couples and families looking to spend some time in this bustling part of Cornwall.

The light and airy open-plan living space is uplifted by natural light and offers a sociable area for coming together and reflecting on the day's events.

Helston lies at the western gateway to the Lizard Peninsula, a large area of downland fringed by a beautiful and spectacular coastline. Helston is a pleasant busy market town famous for it's Flora Day Festival and the many stories and legends about the "Furry Dance" are told in the fascinating Helston Folk Museum. Nestled in a tranquil setting is the National Seal Sanctuary on the Helford River, where there is plenty of entertainment watching seals play and feed. If it is thrill rides that excites you, then Flambards theme park will keep you amused all day and also has excellent living history experiences. Further afield is the harbour town of Falmouth to the east and Land's End to the west. Helston is a wonderful holiday destination offering plenty of attractions for the whole family.
